I agree about the white dishes. I like them because they’re more economical, I use them as a starting canvas and add color with my napkins and such. I do the same with bedding, my mom used to say it was a southern thing, I say it’s a ‘I work too hard for my money,” lol!

I can’t wait for the final reveal when you get your easels for your platters and you’ve tweaked any styling decisions. I’m picturing the angular oval platter in with the ginger jar and then add a third piece to balance the pitchers on the opposite side. I love the texture of your open-weave bread basket and think the height variances would make a nice vignette with the platter and ginger jar, but clearly you have many beautiful options! QUESTION- When you are entertaining with your beautiful dishes, what do you do with the empty spaces in your cabinet while your company is there? I have this problem and I don’t know what the proper thing is to do about it?
Have you considered how dust will effect your dishware with open shelving? Especially when those dishes are not used regularly. Great organisation though! I have been struggling to think of a solution for my extra dishes, sadly this will not work
