The model is so gorgeous! She looks like a mixture of Jessica Chastain and Uma Thurman. Oh and Charlotte is fantastic as usual. She's a real makeup goddess
this model is incredibly beautiful!! I think with her freckled, clear skin, the face makeup looks very splotchy, she also has gorgeous eyelashes and lips, but better without the makeup
I agree! I think the makeup looked nice (or fresh) up until Charlotte applied the coffee pencil and mascara. It then became too much, too heavy. Mascara is not necessary for every makeup look, and in fact it can destroy a look and make it trite and overly done instead of sophisticated and clean. The model had something nice going on with just the filled in brow and sheen on her eyelid from the cream shadow.

I don't think I get foundation-matching. In my eyes, that tinted moisturizer is way too yellow for her.

Well, she's a make-up artist, so technically her job is to use faces as canvases to produce artistical or just beautiful makeup looks. There's nothing in the definition of 'makeup artist' that says they should aim for troubled skin. Actually an artist will usually prefer a blank canvas.
no model has very problematic skin and if they do, they take care of it

This is not fresh faced! The model looks way to dolled up. The lips should look moist not glossy, the eyes are way too shimmery. Maybe this looks fresh under spotlights but in everyday light every thing is too much. Thumbs down.

I don't think she means fresh as in 'new' but as in natural unmade up...not 'out of a tin ' make up...she ruined it with those lips though

no, they're not. I think the mascara just didn't hit the roots of the outer corner lashes. With so sheer and light eyeliner there is no way to be able to apply falsies. But maybe the model has eyelash extensions :)
