    My friend died from this type of treatment, age 26, also a bodybuilder. One day he went to dentist for a toothache and they found he has "leukemia". Was feeling great all around, no problems with health whatsoever up until the tooth started hurting. He ended up looking like this and eventually his body couldn't take it anymore. I still can't get over it, he was such a good guy, hard working, honest man. Damn.

    I stopped working out because of your channel. I think it's some of the best modern advice I've taken actually. I required 9+ hours of sleep every night working out 3-4 times a week. Now I'm fully rested with 8. I don't have aches or pains I'm constantly working around anymore. I'm not falling asleep in my chair in the afternoon either. I remember when I used to go to the gym I'd get sick almost exactly 3-4 months into working out and it would "slow my progress". The gym is dirty and when you are pushing yourself to the limit all the time you just destroy your immune system.

      I never really worked out to begin with because I can't really gain weight without doing unnatural things. Just couldn't force myself to do it, but I always felt bad about not going because I know I could look better. These videos have really put into perspective how self destructive that line of thinking is. I feel more relaxed and at ease not going to the gym now!

    • @drewmorg.
      @drewmorg. Před měsícem +9

      @@ab_c4429 Agreed. I worked out very hard, very consistently, with minimal progress for many years. It's either body dysmorphia where you become large and don't see it ... or just keep doing the same thing over and over again comparing yourself to other people with different genetics and are usually on some type of steroids. All of it is unhealthy and man made obsession. When I look back at times I hear women fond over men, it's usually guys that were just born handsome and never worked out lol. Most men start working out because they want attention from women and this is how it begins.

    • @ab_c4429
      @ab_c4429 Před měsícem +3

      @@drewmorg. What Goatis made me realize is that humans aren’t meant to gain much muscle. I always thought I had bad genes/bad luck but I was never designed to do it anyway. As for women; yes that is initially why I wanted to do it. But I hardly gain weight, have been naturally slim my entire life and also got IBD recently. So I figured it’s quite impossible for me to get a really muscular physique. Since then I’ve accepted (maybe cope) that the right woman for me wouldn’t be interested in muscles anyway. I must say that since watching his videos I can’t help but notice what I previously subconsciously felt. Many women are completely unattractive to me, both physically and mentally.

    Body fat is there for a reason, otherwise we wouldnt have it! A little body fat under the skin is normal and healthy. Fat is there to regulate hormones, as a store of energy, its essential for the nervous system and also protects veins and muscles. Why is there this obsession with removing it to under 1%? Where does this come from? Its neither healthy nor sustainable. Are you gonna maintain that low fat percentage your whole life, putting your body at risk and taking up your whole time controlling your nutrition? Its ridiculous. It is a manufactured ideal by the entertainment and advertising industry and young people have been influenced by it. Look at leading role men in movies from the 50's, 60's and 70's...Charlton Heston, Clint Eastwood, Sean Connery in James bond...they were all fit, healthy and normal looking. Muscular but not too much, lean and a small layer of fat under the skin. As nature intended. What happened?

I don’t believe cells in the body have the capability to choose to be or not be cancerous or for random things to just “happen”. Many doctors/scientists may believe that, but they also likely believe that if you drop a rock it will fall to the ground (cause and effect). i enjoy your videos.
    however, it seems you are completely against strength training. I could do pull ups in nature, are they also useless? Squats help you run faster and jump higher, they aren't useless.

      You wouldn't do pull ups in nature, that's the point. You would generally not exert yourself for no reason. Squats make your legs bigger, which makes you slower.

      Eat a lot of fiber = bowel cancer
      Abuse alcohol = liver cancer
      You get the point... it is not random at all and you are 100% in control of your health unless you have some really bad genetic flaw then you can blame your ancestors

    Ironic/hypocritical to make lowest common denominator attention seeking/dopamine addict content like this don't you think? Not defending anyone you've roasted it just doesn't make sense to call people out for their bad lifestyle by proliferating your own and others addiction lol rhetorical question btw the fact you read this and either responded in comment or in your head to cope is all the proof needed this is correct. Have a blessed day

      The internal feeling that you feel when you see someone being exploited Doesn’t come from anything religious or man-made. Its called compassion and its a natural emotion.

    • @HANDHELD_HISTORY
      @HANDHELD_HISTORY Před měsícem

      @@TheCrazykidlife If you think exploitation is wrong/bad, and oppose it, then you're inadvertantly granting morality. If you are using the word "exploitation" in a negative way, and just expect people to grasp it as such, then you are just assuming morality as a given. To someone else, exploitation could be a good thing, and if you are opposed to that idea then you are showing signs of an internal constitution that reflect an innate morality.

    • @TheCrazykidlife
      @TheCrazykidlife Před měsícem

      @@HANDHELD_HISTORY never said it was wrong or bad. those are manmade constructs just like right and wrong, which stem from religion..im talking about having compassion which is a natural emotion.

    • @HANDHELD_HISTORY
      @HANDHELD_HISTORY Před měsícem

      @@TheCrazykidlife Yeah, morality begets compassion. Words like Religion and morality are just buzz words for some people. There is no good/bad or right/wrong, but there is such a thing as an innate compassion... this is just rebranding and wordplay. Choosing to not exploit someone vs. choosing to exploit someone, there is really no difference then whichever path you take is what you're saying? But if you do choose not to exploit someone, you are compassionate verses someone who chooses to exploit someone, then they are not compassionate? What if the only way to survive is by exploiting others, if you don't exploit others you will be sacrificing your own well-being which wouldn't be compassionate towards yourself? All in all, your use of the word compassionate is just a word replacement for good/moral... but compassion is an ethical term, but when it comes to natural and unnatural, there are no such things as oughts that you can just passively grant as givens.
