i agree with you. i thought only DCS World & War Thunder has great cinematics, but i was wrong. Now i got my eyes on BMS.
What’s really worth mentioning, is that in BMS camera functionality is a lot harder than the other two. Also there are no track(replay) files so every single shot you see is real time flying by me. The amount of work and practice this requires to synthesize and create a video looking like is…. tough and crazy 😛🔥

@@simgaminglife4392That's not true. I'm also a DCS player and to be honest the transition is not that hard. It's harder to find people willing to Guide you in. Everybody is just saying read the manual.
@@piotrlukowicz6760 I do respect your opinion but i will kindly disagree with you here. There are plenty of videos out there covering many BMS subjects in high detail. There is the "Tactical Frequency" Podcast where is honesly un-believably helppful for newcomers. There are a few players coming from DCS entitled to be given instructions and guidance like its not a big of deal, when in fact is. BMS is complicated, deep and detailed. Someone who has spend months/years to come close to know certain stuff cannot simply transfer this knowldge in a few days, especially on demand of people who dont even know. Let alone the amount of time that requires. When ppl prompting you to the manuals, its not cause they're lazy, its cause they re the exact opposite. They do what most DCS players (as it appears to be from facts) wouldnt. And that's absolutely ok, dont get me wrong. Thats why there's DCS, fantastic graphics, cool simulation and a friendly/easier environment to start with. BMS is a "study sim" for a reason and simply expecting it to change just to serve individualistic preferences is not going to lead anywhere but a negative experience.
My suggestions: Watch "Aviation Plus" youtube videos. Listen to "The Tactical Frequency" podcast and these two will already have you covered A LOT and "quickly" enough.

@@simgaminglife4392 not every newcomer to BMS needs to do much learning at the beginning to fly a nice sortie. If somebody is already familiar with the DCS F-16 - then it's really easy. I recommend everyone to give BMS a try and enjoy the fighting falcon.

What planes can you fly in Falcon BMS?
Thank you!!! F-16 and F-15 primarily, followed by F-18, Mirage 2k, Some Mig types, Tornado, Harrier etc but these are not fully developed in terms of systems, avionics, etc..
Zaamn, just bought falcon 4. Its seems to me that bms just needs a little love graphics wise and it would be banging heads with dcs

@@simgaminglife4392 It is superior to DCS yes, i'm just saying that adding comparable graphics will get DCS community to jump in (cause there are plenty of people who dont know bout BMS), add more planes on top and it's a direct threat to ED. Future will be better if this happens
@@paperswan Don’t take this the wrong way but I’m not sure if DCS community can simply jump in BMS. There are reasons why people chose BMS and reasons why ppl chose DCS and I assure you it’s more than just visual fidelity. It’s two different worlds to the point it’s even worth comparing them I believe.
@@simgaminglife4392 i think they are both pretty similar concepts, i'm not even sure how i will adapt but from what i heard about BMS realistic AI, dynamic campaign, realistic avionics etc. it's a dream for every DCS player. But there things to be polished ofc. And i personally want competition in a sim world (i know its a community mod but still) because as you know fair competition leading to final consumers being happy)
@@paperswan I totally understand where you coming from. A thing many people forget when comparing is that the one is a paid product developed for customers while the second is a free sim developed for sim enthusiasts and real pilot simulators. I have empathy for the DCS players coming to BMS expecting everything on their feet, to be served in a way, that’s the behavior they build when paying money. Lots of money. 90% of the time they are prompted towards the BMS detailed manuals they re just not ready for this, for the work it takes to actually operate a proper sim with all that it comes and to adapt to a different community and environment. For those who are though, they are more than welcome 🙏
Hi!! Noticed the F-4 there. Has the flyable one been updated / fixed? I want to check this sim out, but Ive been tied up with DCS in the F-4, which is my fave plane ever ever. I have heard nothing but good about this sim and am curious, but I gotta have my F-4 lol....
@@robertmantell1700 Thanks for watching 🙌 Well Falcon BMS supports primarily F-16 and F-15. F-4 is flyable but proper avionics and weapon systems are not properly developed yet. So, although I totally relate with your excitement, Falcon BMS might not have the F-4 experience you might looking for compared to DCS.
@@simgaminglife4392 It's the AUP from the pit view, so if you can deploy guided munitions and CCIP drop and it has a proper HUD then it exceeds the DCS F-4. I was just wondering if it was worth the time and effort to look into it. F-4 is fav jet, AUP is my fav variant, and I am not necessarily into DCS for the realism, I just wanna enjoy my fave jet!

@simgaminglife4392 No I was part of a mod group called Red Viper when that existed. I did a few mods that might have survived in bms. They just look familiar. 😀
@@archtica Oh ok I see! I like clouds in BMS, yes there’s room for improvement but I like them visually and also for their functionality with Fox2 missiles.
How did you achieve the camera movement at 0:06 and 0:16?
Inside your BMS User.cfg file, place the following lines.
set g_fEyeFlySpeedFactor 100.0
// controls the forward speed of the eyefly camera (mouse scroll wheel), default 1000.0f
set g_fEyeFlyTranslateFactor 250.0
// controls the up/down/left/right/forward/backward speed of the eyefly camera, default 500.0f
set g_fEyeFlyViewAngleFactor 2.0
// controls the sensitivity of the mouse viewing angles of the eyefly camera, default 1.0f
You can play around with the numbers to change the speed of the movement. Is not always this smooth fyi. Takes some time to practice and get it to work your way, good luck!

What I do not understand how you could sideway the camera at 0:16? The camera movement is perpendicular to the direction of the view.
I know the eyefly but the camera to me always moves forward.
@@molnibalage83 Its very simple rly, if the camera glides forward but you rotate your head 90 degrees (assuming having a Head Tracking Device) you get this shot ;)

isn't the music a little too loud, kinda overrides the sounds of the jet.
The " A NEW ERA " - FALCON BMS 4.37.4 | by D3m1aN. Video had a really great audio balance in music, jet sounds, and radio chatter.

mod and setting ?
Hello there, there is not mod you see here, its the Falcon BMS 4.37.4 version with only a light filter of extra contrast for cinematic purposes. No mods for graphics, no magic.

hello I just download it but the graphic is not even near to yours I have an RX 6800 XT and a ryzen 7 5800X. I boost all the option to max but it's not even close to what I see in your video
@@aplaceinthesky82 I get that a lot. It’s a subjective matter as there are few additional factors to it. Yes maxing the graphs is one, then is camera placement, I notice that most people playing BMS they leave the cockpit cam to the default position. You can tweak the FoV settings in your BMS.cfg files to give better depth. Also I am using an ultra wide screen for 2k resolution at 144hz so I have crispy smooth graphics quality. There is also the option for a reshader mod (not sure if it’s working with update 4), you can look more about it on the BMS forums. You can also use your middle mouse button to move the “head” cam further in or out in perspective.
You probably need to spend some more time experimenting and playing around with settings and camera manipulation to get what you see in my videos. Wish you patience and good luck 🙌

Hello man, its all relative. What screen size do u use, Hz number, refresh rate, in game proper camera placement, FoV settings through BMS.cfg config files... double check that you have every possible setting to the max too.
