- In this Minecraft tutorial, we are building a survival castle, interior and exterior! For the most part, it would make a great starter base (though some decorations would have to wait).

Note: some of the stone of the main tower will be replaced with cobblestone patches, so I recommend gathering 6 stacks of stone and no cobblestone blocks, and then when you go to add the cobblestone patches you can just break the stone and replace it with the cobblestone you pick up.

I actually built a gibbet for the outside of the castle in the video. I also put a bunch of heads on spikes. Had to darken the scene a bit. I thought the gibbet actually came out pretty awesome.
How did you put the ladder on the stairs in the courtyard tower?
Me and my wife have been saying we’re gonna build a castle in our world, so far it is almost entirely populated by your builds, especially the cottage(s)… then you upload this! Absolute perfect timing and lovely build

This build is amazing. Most tutorials for castles are for Mega projects that I would normally only attempt in creative.
This manages to scale down the size to such a reasonable level for survival mode, that I'd probably make this in every server I join.
It has just enough size, and I am going to make a massive basement down below for extra storage.

For a couple days I’ve been looking around yt for good Minecraft bases and I couldn’t find any. Until this! I really like the vibe of having everything you need for survival mode. (The only thing you missed was the brewing area ;) ) but overall great build! I can’t wait to make this in my survival world.
Just finished building this is and it is defintly worth every bit it looks great and is a great foundation to build a bigger castle off of great build 👍

I dare to call myself Minecraft veteran, kinda old turtle, so this channel is a nice new surprise even when it is already one yer old :D Builds look great, nice for surival (even if maybe a little bit modified), narration is fine, sound is ok. I love this design however I am so giving it a different color pallete, I am thinking deepslate with the house being a mix of spruce and a mangrove wood roof.

Love the vid man and the castle but really quickly did anyone else know that for some reason you can't put ladders and trap doors on stairs in bedrock edition that's crazy although this is my first time seeing anyone do this in either version

Its been so long Tony I been here since early last year and absolutely love your builds I think I might make this later today , the materials pretty easy to get so it shouldn't be a problem , question do you think this will look good in the mega tagia biome/old growth pine tagia with a big mountain behind because I living in that biome at the moment .
I think that would look amazing 👌 you may want to try some darker materials for the roof to help to blend in better

Can you make a big castle like a fort for a city like a castle you would see in movies
be really nice if you'd include the walls and such for any courtyards and similar in the spacing layout at the beginning. Not everyone is building on flat ground.
Great build. I'm doing one myself, using your tutorial. Only snag i am encountering is, i can't get the spruce trap doors on the main spruce doors because, it keeps opening the doors when i try. How did you do it?

Is it possible to see a tutorial of a castle themed build, in survival mode? I have built a few of your layouts, this one being my most recent. But I only play in survival, and I would like to see if there is an easier way of doing it.
I tried doing a tutorial in survival mode before, and it just makes the video way too long. But in the future I'll try to do it without flying so much

Can you tell me how you put trapdoors next to and on top of each other? I can only activate them without placing.
You just have to hold shift (crouch) while placing them

All kinds of places, but mainly from pinterest and other builders on instagram and youtube
