Okay but all jokes aside I really missed uploading for you guys and I'm gonna try to get back into it! There are lots of shows coming up that I can talk about if you want, so stay tuned!
Today's video is about Build Up, the mnet survival show that focused on creating a strong vocal team consisting of 4 members
There were lots of amazing performances on the show, but I decided to pick my 10 favorites and showcase them to you ✨

(And same, Jeup (and Donghun, but I'm biased) is probably the one thing I'm genuinely upset about. I have limited issues with the debut team because the show's issues fall on mnet and the debut team is great, but come on, Jeup was right there)

I think mnet just being business minded, they go to the most popular team. But I think it would make more sense if the show is like produce 101 where it individually evaluates the contestant instead of as a team.
(BTW, my bias is HMJB but still I support Jeup and Donghun ever since their first appearance on I can see your voice)
@@itsnotwella Oh 100%, I don't fault mnet on the popularity side of things, cause that makes sense. It was mostly the audience not knowing what was happening lol. I was so torn between all the teams, they were all incredible. I also feel bad for HMJB about the debut name. I'm pretty sure Bistaeon is 28, so the 'boy' title seems a bit...(although HMJB may not have an issue with it)
Well... I agree.... Jeup talent with his high notes is rare even among the already debuted artist..
This show was a rage bait and the format was so ridiculous. Who’s idea was it to ensure that the high rankers never end up in the same team

They should’ve just debuted DongUp as a duo like- what are we doing..
I loved the Jesu duo as well, but honestly idk if they would be good to debut together

No because the way everyone from Partners has a group to go back to after the show but Jeup doesn’t and he said this was probably his last chance.. I am still so sad. It genuinely felt like Mnet changed the show’s entire concept in the last 4 episodes and it was no longer about building up a vocal boy group like how it was advertised in the beginning.. not even going to comment how our votes genuinely didn’t matter at all because we were promised to build the vocal group ourselves but the teams were decided since the last few episodes and we couldn’t change anything until the very end 😭 overall, this was probably the most terrible producing of a Msnake show I’ve ever seen
Agreee!! The only good thing about this show were some of the performances…. But I’m so sad for Jeup, I knew him before but I completely fell for him after I started watching the show, he was so good I thought he would end up in the final group for sure…. Even if they had a concept of self organising a four member group in the last episodes, I feel like the members of the final group should have been decided individually at least! Ugh…

I think the debut group has some great singers but I just feel so sad for genuinely incredible singers like Donghun, Jeup and even Hayoon (because he had the most unique tone on this show like omg) not making it.. I also feel like some of the judges genuinely didn’t know what they were even saying when they were giving Partners critiques tbh.. like how do you top any of their performances? I genuinely wish to know 😭 this whole show started so well and looked so promising but ended up becoming one big mess and a popularity contest just like boys planet
Actually to be fair they should display all the number of votes for each team during air time both domestic or international so there wouldnt be any arguments or suspects

Agree.. atleast make it a six member group and get 1 member each from the loosing team. So sad for Jeup and Wumuti.
Partners should just debut. I mean they compliment each others weakness. They have the high notes and unique tones that can go with anything.
They are the Ideal Vocal Group, well polished and shines in every performance. I will miss their performnance and I'm already crying 😢
I would love fir them to also debut, but with 3 of them being active idols it will be hard 🥺
We're getting robbed off from seeing jejehunhun and I'm still sad to this day. Would still support BDU and keep praying for jeup and donghun's success. I hope those two would get many offers to sing OSTs at least, their ballads moved me the most.
Someone should debut Waterfire, I don't want to see Suhwan or Wumuti in yet another survival show
Today was announced that WaterFire is debuting under Suhwan’s company!! They have Twitter, Instagram and CZcams channels ready to open tomorrow. Yes Wumuti will finally debut❤🎉

i completely agree! while i do think the final four are incredibly deserving and will do amazing, it just sucks we never even got the chance to see a unit like jeup, jay, and donghun. like clearly they were the top 3 strongest contestants vocally and we never got to see them together, it's just tragic man. like even though people are saying they "might not fit each other vocally" or wtv we will literally never know since they never got to perform together. but all in all, im very happy for the winning team and hope that other contestants like jeup and donghun can thrive after putting their name out there and hopefully get more attention!
the show was so obviously set up from the start, i just wish they let the higher ranking contestants team up with each other rather than making it so that they're forced to choose other contestants

I really felt at the beginning that this show really had the potential to be a good survival show but maybe i forgot it was msnake
I mean how could they mess up so bad like- they didn't have any fixed method for elimination and survival in any mission, literally chose to seperate the top tiers i mean- how brainlessly everything was done,, instead of making the top ones come together in a team, as it should've been, they just chose to let them go against each other, how are we gonna get the "best" vocals group??? Hunminjaybit are really talented and deserving otherwise had it been an "only good looking contestants" group..,... idk mnet really did a poor job again this time

We all wanted Jay, Donghun and Jeup together, Mnet obviously knew that and still they robbed us from individual voting. Ngl, I'm overjoyed HUNMINJAYBIT won, I watched Build up for Jay, but the fact he wanted to partner up with Jeup and vice versa AND DIDN'T HAPPEN-
Since the beginning, Jeup had shown flawless performance, consistent throughout the competition.. There no doubt about his vocal ability, his live sounded so much like a recording and stable ...
As a fan of Jeup for 7yrs, I'm heartbroken because i know he is desperate and I still can't accept the fact that he lose his chance to debut once again when he's so close, however I hope that he gained a lot of new fans through Build Up, please support him for a long long time cause he deserve more, I don't want him to give up on singing which he love so much and also he's the coolest when he sing 😊
Any friend of Donghun is my friend too so I'm thrilled they are putting out a single together. Don't worry, Donghun and A.C.E willl have Jeup's back and cheer him on! I follow Jeup now myself.
lets be fr jeup and donghun not being in the lineup is SO INSANE like they were carrying that show on their backs, sang like they had 5 kids back home to feed. and even then the final lineup isnt bad but jeup def deserved to be in the group too
Both Jeup and Donghun deserved it.. Donghun only got around 5 hours of sleep for months and had to do a CB with A.C.E in the middle of everything.. He really wanted this 🥺
Je up was robbed, but i didn't see him debuting with jay and doing well and it was obvious that jay will be in bdu.
I like the group that won they seem to fit each other and some from smaller groups to get into more popular ones.
Personally i dont see him fitting well with a group i think he would be a great soloist .

Sad that I was only able to watch up to ep 7 because staying awake until 8am every Friday morning was starting to affect my sleep schedule, mental health and grades 🤨 (who would’ve expected that? I’m clearly too weak). At least I watched the I’ll Be Your Man performance (talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same…)

Mnet is so unfair man. Like we all know where the actuall skill was. Not saying that jay's team are bad singers. But partenrs are most alrounded singers and compliment each other the best.
Well HunMinJayBit are too, my boys deserved that win, they’re compliment each other, and being an all rounders, so this is doesn’t makes sense to me.
Since the idea of put the top tier with other ppl, not make individual selection in the last round and the way of they were eliminated very well with the jury (WHO KNOWS ABT WHAT'RE TALKING) to end up letting the usual public do what they want with the votes... I'm just frustrated
