Before creating a character/watch mule, it's beneficial to have a high watch level before you begin.
Once you have reached a high watch level, you can create a new character and use the level boost option to start your character in the Warlords of New York expansion (bypassing the main campaign). This new character will be your watch mule and will have a vast amount of scavenging points available depending on your watch level, with every expansion playthrough of Warlords of New York.

Done it a couple of dozen times, you can cut time down by missing things out, like going straight to the safe house and not following the full story. Also, remember to do the weekly donations for an exotic cache with your spare agent. Also, you can start a new agent and get to level 30 and get an exotic cache which takes about 10 minutes. ❤
I've done this about a dozen times, it makes it SOOOO easy when you want to level up your expertise levels, the only drawback is all your optimization cashes stack up because if you open them all those materials hit the floor, I've got over 30 in my stash.
Appreciate the tip. I made the mistake of merging without maxing the resources of the new agent and the CAP for all characters stayed at 9999 after the merge. I'm glad you point out this step.
I’m new but basically if you don’t plan on doing a HC character, you can make 3 level 30 “mules” to organize your stash and get the weekly exotics on all 3. Once you reach 1000+ delete one of them and go through NYC until you can get those materials, rince and repeat as needed. Also you might want to level those other characters to 40 once you have the time.

Dope vid…I do have a minor suggestion based on increasing expertise….Although more time consuming, rather than buying printer filament for leveling up expertise, you can maximize your shd pts more by using for them 10k e-credits then buy mods and break them down into printer filament. Example: 50 SHD gets you 500 printer filament. If you use 50 SHD to convert to 10k ecredits and then buy mods and break them down you can roughly get 640 printer filament (vs 500). Again, not a huge difference but if you have the time and wanna maximize SHD watch points then that’s the way to go! Wise agent drowpro taught me that lol

I hit shd level 1007 yesterday and did the new york campaign, but only got 200 shd points. I'm assuming you have to be at least shd 2000 for the return trip to new york to be worth it.
Run level 1 to 30, you will have side missions for shd level after getting watch.
Found out after 1000. I have a level 30 build. That helps others go from 1 to 30.
You don’t have to put the 800 Shd if you don’t want to I have done it
If the character is going to be deleted, got to remember to break down every item into resources before purchasing the SHARED blueprint & then deleting it.

Even better is to just put 1 single point in any of the main categories then back out and so you have TONS of points to spend on materials etc. After all points are spent, delete character and run wony again and repeat process.
What is point merging mats over cap? It even means, that you cant get any mats from normal sources. Especially SHD Calibration and Field Recon data which comes from projects, countdown, CPs and DZ landmarks.
Right, buying the shared material blueprint for all characters takes your inventory from
40k to 10k
The point is: if you were to farm the regular game, it would take significantly longer to accumulate the same amount of points. On average, it takes approx. 3 hours to complete the expansion (WONY). At this rate, I wouldn't even care about getting mats from regular sources.
@@ingendesign13 That I understand, but why go over cap is what I miss. When capped, you missing all mats from regular gameplay. You can stay under cap, collect more during gameplay and use SHD levels to buy mats only when needed.
If you do not plan on keeping that new char, why even allocate the 800 shd points? Can you not just use them ALL of resources?
Great, more publicity on this will just give the devs something new to "fix"

Does it matter which character i buy the shared resources on? Do i do that on my main or one of the othet 3 characters
You can buy the shared resource item on which ever character you want to merge with your main.
So, the question is, if you have 1 char, and 2400 SHD levels, and 3 free chars, then will the char stacking of resources max out at 19999, 29999, or 39999 ?
Correct, it adds (stacks) to the main pool of resources.
So have I done something wrong? Ive just made my first ever additional character and my watch has started at lvl 1, but my main is level 2200

We suggest farming XP, open world on challenging or heroic with a minimum of three directives on.
Create 4 characters, do not buy shared blueprint for materials on first 3, buy it only for the 4th.
See what happens;)

The 4th character shares all material with the other 3 characters.
Effectively multiplying materials x4 without sharing the 9,999 martial slots.
The 4th character gets all materials from the other 3, as well as the other 3 get materials from the 4th. Without subtracting materials from any characters. Something form nothing, I call it the Big Bang for your buck.

i know you want clicks and money but they gonna patch this if youtubers keep posting videos about it
It is not bug but feature. For most players with lower SHD levels is not worth run WONY for 4-5hrs or 2hrs power leveled by another 40 level account. For higher SHD levels it is not needed as you usually run on materials cap anyway and expertise is at max levels. With countdown, it is easy to farm gear and weapons for level up proficiency and expertise. Four runs for brand/set from 0 to 10. plus many materials including 6 SHD calibrations per Countrown run, considering you will loot all three black plus final orange loot cache.
Expertise is meant for long term players, so you cant do it easily in few hrs/days. But when you reach max level, next seasson you will be done just by logging in and donate all materials which will be on its cap. Plus another 20-30 pieces for mats/donation, plus credits to buy mats/exotic caches....
I did second account. First character was run thru story without support (27hrs). three characters boosted to 30 and finished WONY (15hrs total). Unlocked all three WONY specializations (no ultimate edition, it took 10hrs?). After 90hrs, Im 204 SHD, expertise 5 with build able to run heroic with some directives (still missing memento backpack), Much better progress than my main account with SHD 4100 level, expertise 24 after 1350hrs.
