- Time to re-make my poison nova necromancer :) This time I wan't to make the 75 FCR set-up with deaths web and 3 pieces of trang-oul set work. It has very high -resist which makes the build hit crazy damage numbers.
You really dont need 125 FCR on this build that much, so I wanted to make this set-up for PvM work.

personally I'd prefer Bramble with 3 TO Items.
For Summons I'd go only Clay Golem since he reaches easily 10k HP and thats all you need :)

use bramble and keep enigma in your inv switch to tele switch bramble to damage
Does the DMG bonus from Bramble work out better then the +2 to skills from enigma? So does the 50% dmg boost work better than boosting all skills by 2?

@@Djuntas SandStorm Trek if you are having issues getting to a certain FHR break point. It offers 20% FHR. There is nothing wrong with Aludrs boots they have good stats as well.

The conviction aura from infinity doesn't effect poison res so you would be better off going with insight for mana regen or some other aura enchanted weapon for minions like faith.
It still gives more dmg to fire dmg part of Corpse Explosion + it...I wrote this probly 4 times on this video already, might help boost your summons assuming they also need attack rating to hit, but sadly we probly cant know about this? Also you dont need mana on this build, its all good. If you dont like infinity use reapers toll for even better dmg boost.
Nice build, this is by far my favorite moveset for a Necromancer !

little food for thought. once you stack lower res and conviction you only get 50 percent form each aura but if you got with one aura you get 100 percent of is so which ever lowers the most go with that
shift +belt number to give potion to your merc
yes, really gotta remember that one..I know it exists, just forget about the keybind ^^ its a good one.
Leftshift + potion button to give merc potion... saves you the drag ;)

I like death sentry because it has better range and lightning damage. That's why I use DS and dragon flight with my merc's 5 att,
6 critical strike/
17 meditation insight/
fort/deli.
Merc kills anything I kick and death sentry kills everything else. Venom and whirlwind are just a bonus.

Hey man, infinity will not help with lowering PSN, it only lowers COLD/FIRE/LIGHT. the crushing blow is nice as it is something your necro lacks... but destruction is fun as it also has crushing blow (less) but the procs will take advantage of your lower resist, can supplement it with guilliaum's face if necessary to boost CB. it will also help with your boss kill problem. Obidience is also and option and cheaper too for all out merc dmg.
Infinity helps on corpse explosion fire dmg part :) its 50/50 phys and fire. Anywho, infinity is also very strong for raw dmg and it helps your minions out as well with conviction aura lowering mobs def.
I'm amazed how kinda "no difference really" there is between this high minus resist 75 FCR set-up and even just a 75 FCR With hoto, or 125 FCR with say a 2/20 amulet as well. How do you guys see this 3-parts trang oul set-up? I want to like it!

Its for faster teleporting or general spell casting. Not much use on this build, but its gr8 for say pvp options. Anywho the build I show doesn't have 125 FCR either :)

I love your videos man, so well done. I had a question about your poison Necro you did a while ago. If you have a Death Web wand on, is it necessary to still use lower resist to make poison nova more efficient?
It is sadly. Minus resist won't break immunities etc :)
No what I was asking is that Death web already has -44 Resist or something. If i have higher lower resist curse should i use that instead? I think Death Web actually breaks some lower minions that are immune to Poison too. I would love to see a video of your poison necro doing Diablo or Baal, Just curious to how decent it is. I have long way to go before i get as many +'s as you though.
@@daviddawdy3023 from my understanding more poison pierce is always good. Negative resistance on a monster actually adds bonus damage past 0 resistance

You can make it work on bosses by using summons. I would not put additional points in revives, its just not worth it but rather in skeletons. I know you dont like summons but for end bosses they come really handy and they also prevent your merc from dying
yup, summons are really key for boss damage :) Just gotta ease up on the CE once in awhile and get some up. Skeletons better than revives usually? I kinda don't like revive because you are forced to make decision on what to bring up, aka avoid weak mobs.
Skells are usually better because they are more reliable and not to underestimate- they are smarter than revives.
I also feel like you could improve your build a lot by aiming for 75 fcr. As you may know poison nova has a next hit delay which means there is no point in casting it more than once in two seconds so therefore you dont need any fcr. It only helps on teleporting faster but that is not worth the price you pay for that.
It's posible to farm endgame and rare items playing offline? Or it's a "must have" to play online multiplayer to get the best gear? I know almost all the endgame gear comes from Nightmare and Hell boss runs but... I can farm them all offline or there are specific items than can't be obtsined?
See my guides on JSP, trading etc. You will never get good gear playing offline unless you spend 100's of hours farming, maybe en 1000's, while 20-100 hours online can get you to level 90 and have decent gear.
Some items, the best once, are also insanely exspensive, and impossible to get offline.
I like big range on corpse explosion with my 'summoner' Necromancer, It has 13 yards and that's pretty nice to see shit die within that Range. Plus i hit them with Amp first because that actually makes corpse stronger because it's 50% physical too. I'm really struggling on my Poison necro though lol. May be too much of a challenge for me. Does Lower Resist make Bone Necro stronger?
Lower resist defiantly helps a lot. Id say all 3 summon builds ends up rely on CE, but the one that can perform best without is probably poison. Summons if you really min max. or rather, like the play style of keeping army up.
Good vid. I reached Canyon of the Magi on Hell and that's where I realized I'm not doing things right. I am very casual at D2 nowadays, am looking forward to collecting stuff for Bramble until I get something more useful. Right now I'm having a LemKoTir in a Mage Plate and started playing Hell from the beginning :D Hoping for a Shako from Andy. Any tips for solving my situation are welcome and thanks for the video.

You can only lower the resist of a monster down to -100%. LR curse will give -150%, which means that non-immunes will have -55% to -100% already, without any gems or Death's Web. With death's web, you have -205% enemy psn resist.
The third piece of Trang's is pointless. Use Homunculus, spirit, or dream. Maxing FCR is pretty pointless too, since a nova has a 2-second damage output. Corpse Explosion can benefit from the FCR, but it'd be better to gain an FCR breakpoint as happenstance rather than trying to get it.
And as far as I was aware, bonus points don't benefit synergies - meaning that 1 hardpoint into fire golem only helps clay golem by its' 1 point, not the 10+ bonus points. Therefor it's most likely best that you just bump more into Clay Golem or Iron Golem as well as Revive, rather than bothering with Skelly Mastery and Fire Golem.

@@Djuntas keep the conviction going for corpse explosion 50% fire %50 Physical dmg. I would personally try dicreprify over lower resist and see if the dmg changes much. I find it to be a better curse for over all.

This is a old video I know but I would like to point out that you have far to much str. You could have max block using trang shield easy with the dex it gives and all those points in str. Also keep in mind Dex add cast rate. Even though the novas dont stack. I personally like your trang setup you have going. I would change up the points as you said to suit my own style but you for sure I think gave me unintended ideas haha
Dex add FCR :P? But yes, need to re-spec it...have to much str, good token is there :) But yes, this set-up is still the best you are gonna get for any nova necromancer, minus the worser stats on my jewelery and helm.

I was watching one of your older guides on a similar build and it was almost nothing but assholes complaining about your build, despite you telling them some of it was just for fun or because you liked another piece of gear better than one that was optomized.

@Djuntas couldent you use a merc with reapers,gface,treachery with d web 3 part trang and 1 in lower res you still should be able to break most ims that way your merc would kill boss pertty fast

Bramble is no tele=sucks
3trangs is a good way, but max block with homu and max bone armor makes you so much more tanky, watch fhr caps, fcr isnt an issue with most setups..would go for treachery/insight merc and claygolem or if someones crazy an op reaper merc and insight iron golem
yes, max-block is fun, but I figured with a focus on summons its not critical vs more life. You don't need insight on the build, not the most mana costly build. Also reapers toll is stupidly OP, especially on this to help summons. And infinity helps you're CE dmg + conviction aura makes summons hit better...Or does it? Who knows the hit chance mechanics on summons...nobody but blizzard I guess?

I think every build video I see for Diablo 2 is some max/high level geared-out toon. What about leveling as a poisonmancer? What about being level 60 or so and not having access to all these gear pieces? How do you not run into mana problems leveling as a poisonmancer? Yes, I realize I'm a noob.
Well if you play online, which I do, all these issues dont exsist. But if you play offline, well...different game.
@@Djuntas I exclusively play online. Blizzard deleted my account at some point, so I have essentially been starting over from scratch these last couple weeks. And although my Necro is a skelemancer right now for leveling, I'd like to do something different. But he's only level 60 and it's going slow, and I don't want to waste a respec if I'm not sure poisonmancer is going to work out.
@@zerotolerance5581 Just get trading, get FG on JSP etc. get rushed, playing online especially non-ladder or late into ladder you gear up and hit 85 in like 1 week of semi active play.
@@Djuntas FG? JSP? As far as getting rushed, they're really aren't that many games going on except for maybe primetime on weekends. There have been many times in the last couple weeks were I've gone online and there were literally no other games going on. But thanks for your replies. :)

You just gotta use all the tools online gives you, some ppl dont like trading, using JSP etc, its up to you. Also join free games, save loot, then sell that shit on JSP for your first 10-50FG, thats enough to get you grreeat gear for starting out. Tokens, gems sells good on JSP
andy face on merc is not good, since the poison nova effect of it overwrittes your poison nova.
use clay golem on an insight and u will never have mana problems again ;)
Hm, its true, the proc could be annoying. Id switch to a gaze then, its also a solid choice. I don't like the destruction of an item for the aura, but I get many people enjoy the aspect :)

Enigma/aldurs are pvp items to maximize movement speed since necro is not allowed to teleport on most leagues except free pvp ;p
Thats a good option :) And yes different rules can apply for leagues in PvP!

means u only played free duels ;p necro were never allowed to teleport in 90% of diablo pvp leagues ;p

Its for CE dmg + infinity helps damage for summons.

Why :P? A 2/20/30 helm is better, but shako is prolly 2# then.
cos you can socket a shako wiith a unique jewel poison.. :) also mana health damage reduce and magic find. You want 3 poison jewels shield helm weapon. direct up in poison damage.. and use skeletons(with marrowwalk) instead of revives. at 88 you can throw the last 19-20 points between skeles n mastery (... bramble thorns.. heart of wolverine(whisp projector) on skeles is op... use prayer merc so everything gets heals. use call to arms as aletnate weapon set with homoculous to gain shouts to all minions(skeles will now live in hell easy and deal tons of damage) switch to web n trang...
if you gem n gear right youll get 90% increase poison and -150% poison resist with lower resist (you can get +30% from infinity on merc in ladder lower resist and conviction dont stack).
i do 13k-13k with 10 skeles 6 magi 11 revives fire golum merc. im at 2.1k hp... faster cast rate isnt that great since the poison doesn't stack.
i do baal runs easy solo on battle net west

You can do that if you want too :) Up to you, since Im on non-ladder it's harder to get Insights for golem.

but it lowers fire resistance and is good for CE. I guess that's the rationale

Skip the infinity, go with Obedience or Insight on merc, and then see my video where I mention a few budget gearing options :)
Dude... what are you doing playing with homun, spirit and ss? Trangs 3 parts set is way to go for Poisonmancer. And why do you use Enigma anyway? Bramble way to go man..
Teleport is nice to have over bramble, but thats personal preferences :) Glad you like the 3 parts set-up as well.

Fhr Fcr etc are stored client side and you dont need any on gear to achieve breakpoints this has been used and known for years
Erhm, just go and play with 0 FCR and say 200 FCR on a sorc, and...yea. Don't know what to say other than that. I have never heard of such a thing, and neither has any standard online sources / fan sites I use :P
