Science believes our body release huge amount of waves when we feel something (anger/sadness/happiness/love/hatred..etc)which somehow promotes or trigger something... Which isn't wrong in any way. ( Yea,even I feel something was missing but overall it was really cool)

I like fighting scene and vfx but i was afraid of the fact that they might use cringe dailogues which became true. Now i truely hope in 2nd part script should be improved and no cringe scene.

I recently saw RRR on TV and I was blown away! Then I saw Bahubali on TV and I was blown away again. Yes, you guessed it right. I hardly step out for a movie no matter how popular they become. But after watching RRR, I felt like “yeh movie to dekhni banti thi big screen pe”
I think anything less than that will will fail to impress. I feel Bramhastra is also an attack on our senses with so much of bg music/fire. Won’t it give a headache? Other than Kesariya, saare scenes rushes mein laal/kaal/orange he dikthe hain. Too much of contrast!

I don't know when we started to equate Bollywood with only cheesy masala movies? Also if we started to keep RRR and KGFs as the benchmarks, we would lose the point and won't get movies like Kahani, Swades, Lagaan, Lakshya etc...
Most of bollywood is like that. There are exceptions of course. RRR, KGF is the cheese of kannada and Telugu cinema. Tamil cinema has Vijay and Ajith for cheese. Malayalam has almost none.
But Tamil and Malayalam cinema churn out more well written and grounded movies a year vs Bollywood releasing a small amount of well written movies a year.

The highlight of rrr was the emotions, the friendship and patriotism besides all the unworldly actions. The acting was superb and sincere. No matter how unrealistic the scenes were their expressions, the dialogues convinced you of this alternate reality

Actually, I had never seen your videos but this is the only movie review which dares to tell the truth. This movie has been aptly called as lover story with laser show in some audience reaction, but somehow prominent reviewers shied away from telling the truth.

It's not that , what it is , that disappoints . Its, what it could have been that frustrates a passionate viewer. The amount of potential the film wastes, just because the makers tried to force typical Bollywood romance into it rather than focusing on the actual storytelling.
We watched Harry potter films and got connected to the characters. But we were never to much concerned about their love life because we were so much engrossed in the overall story itself.
Other Sci-Fi or super hero films like the Marvel Multiverse, star wars ,lord of the rings etc. All have some element of love and romance in them but it never overpowers the actual story.
U r saying that marvel and starwars too have love angle and too executed well right ? But we'll tell me from how many years there production is going on ? Bruhh it's just his 3rd film atleast try to feel for that u can't achieve perfection at one , and ik that love angle was but milked as usual bollywood but atleast he tried give us smthg ! Here everyone tries to make commercial movie by adding romantic songs, love angles etc. That's why the film seems different than a superhero genre but more like a bollywood genre .

You are right they just want hero should romance 30 minutes in movie.. look at batman trilogy.. they just show love in life of batman itself. Nothing force... Love track in this film was unnecessary, which this industry definitely needs to come out of that bubble to focus on the main plot, but technical aspects like vfx, camera work are top-notch🔥.....overall, a decent 3D experience in theatres👌(ofc, it is not as good as what audiences expected but not as bad as what some youtubers are saying)

I watched this movie yesterday and saw this review today.
My exact thoughts that I expressed yesterday, I am seeing today on this. ( please don’t judge me for me watching it in theatre. I had to watch it for my son lol)
Few more points.. movie takes few concepts from Harry Potter’s birth miracle, dr strange ashram sequences, Thor dark world’s protagonist and antagonist actions.. minus dialogues, good physique of Thor etc
Why Bollywood is going back to such stupidity after movies like andhadhun or even Ranbirs own experimental movie Jagga jasoos or barfi
It’s an experiment with such movies ,, it’s a good attempt ,, I liked the movie ,, but the love story was too much
Bramhasthra is basically a children's movie. It's great for kids to teen to understand and enjoy thoroughly. The way everyone speaks and explains everything makes me realise it's target audience is children. And if this series comes out the same way. It would be a Bollywood cult classic. Like Harry Potter, xmen and other Hollywood movies.
Overall the movie is a below average movie due to the length of the movie as well as weak screenplay. Instead of showing excessive love story, the director could put scenes on background of several Astras and their importance. Unfortunately, the film totally disappoint us.

I had high hopes for this movie and I was disappointed. On the budget, I agree. Where was the money spent. The last movie I watched, JugJugg Jeeyo, spent 100 crores, but I can't see where it went.

Kahani was not upto the mark but Vfx is outstanding. I felt like Alia is just a side actress. Big applause for Mouni Roy🔥🔥 It was feeling like Brahmastra is only for Ranbir and Mouni Roy. Happy to watch Mouni Roy in a powerful role.
If this seems outstanding VFX to you, then please do watch movies which have astronomical VFX. May be you would have a moment of self-realisation, then!

If you watch rrr, it's VFX is good but not like we haven't seen better or the action sequences which was so over the top but but but for rrr the soul of the movie was alive, the emotions had never been diluted, if these things are there then people will forgive all those shortcomings and obviously ss rajamouli designed the high points such that people's jaw will fall off.

Brahmastra is a spec of dust infront of mammoth RRR. Brahmastra had everything from budget to time but it still sucked big time - it had potential to be great but it doesn’t even live up to some small sized budget moves. Just with Vfx and grand scale, a movie won’t be successful. RRR movies shows effort put in by every person who worked on the project and how RRR tried to be Unique but Brahmastra already felt very familiar to concepts watched in the western movies. And to make it worse - they announced a Trilogy when 1st part itself is so weak. Creativity and diversity is something Bwood seems to lack. Also Bwood is disconnected with Indian roots to even translate a certain cultural thing on screen. Bwood is dead and it’s time to accept and move on or more exhibitors will loose money like Inox and PVR did with Brahmastra. 🙏

Divyastras could only be invoked by the specific mantras associated but, the Astra knowledge is lost or, kept hidden. The vfx team has some affinity with pink flames! Kisi ko free mey cooking karni ho toh bas Shiva ko bulakar handi ya frying pan uske upar rakhne ka hai.

1) The visual and concept was good . I loved srk and amitabh sir part and villian at last shown
Negatives
1) Alia and ranbir boths acting was all over the place . In the climax they were trying to show how love is real brahmastra all that part i didnt get also there was no depth or chemistry between alia and ranbir there
part i feel was forced and streched
2)story was too much simple and the character were not layerd and well written
3) still dont know why was alia and ranbir shouting so much throughout like ishaaaa and shivaaaaa . Alia bhat throats was bad throughtout in
gangubai she acted very well
4) They should have included something that will justjfy all this astras or some old stories
5) i didn't get any goosebumps throughout the movie
I totally disagree that RRR had good story or dialogueS… it just had good action scenes.. and for sure VFX of bhramastra are much better then RRR… instead of being sadist we should start appreciating things, atleast an effort was made to bring something different..also not sure what is your issue with nepotism in bollywood.. RRR star cast was completely nepotist and u dont have issues with that.. i challenge you to tell me one business industry where there is no nepotism or favoratism.. so please come over that debate..

I disagree. The VFX's were on par with Hollywood, fight sequences were unique and not copy paste from other movies. IMO the first 40 minutes were slow, but after that the movie picks up pace and doesn't let go. So for this fantastic effort, great cast/cameo I will give it 5 on 5.
But I agree to a point raised by you towards the end i.e. a VFX driven movie should invest it's majority budget in VFX.

99% of the time I can tell if the movie will be good or not by watching trailer itself, this was no exception. The only good vibe I am getting is from Vikram Vedha trailer at this point

Sir RRR also has that mindless action hero centric movie only..There was two hero here is one. The hero never dies no logic nothing but here in Bramhastra we are finding logic though we all know it's a super hero movie .Still this movie showing the superhero can also bleed but at the end it is also explained why this love story is important.Thogh I agree the character building is not good, dialouge is not good .But if you find Rrr as a good movie then this is far better than that.May be you already think that this is a bad movie and you skip some part..And VFX wise no indian movies have provided such scale of VFX and stunning visuals..It's great attempt and we should support that.And if we like RRR then we can like this too

SRK was the best part of this movie
Brahmastra is suffering from really poor timing, the movie has been in the making for a decade, script was written pre covid and worst of all, RRR came out before it
Imagine if this movie came out pre-covid(before Indian audiences went through this massive shift in ideology), this movie would be the perfect stepping stone for a movie like RRR and set a benchmark for the 20s in general
But u still agree even if brahmastra came first rrr could still beat it by story right? Considering the amount of time it took to write script for brahmastra

The story is very similar to Telugu Shakti movie. Shakti is disaster movie. At that movie no VFX, maybe if there is VFX at that time that movie would also be good.

Despite negative reviews from top critics, I am surprised with the positive word of mouth from the general public. Brahmastra is literally unabashed Bollywoodiya fun. Enjoyed totally.
