Old Sledge Tuning is AEAD (low to high). Fiddlers often tune low.
Here, it's a whole step lower: GDGC
I love every inch of his bow and what he does with it ..
Pretty awesome
Dan's bowing is amazing.
I play like this in my dreams. just so good on many levels..
Fiddle tune. Bluegrass Band. Colonial-era card game. And, a tuning. Ow, my widdle bwain!😵💫
Seriously great fiddling!
incredible. such fluid bowing!
Fantastic❤️❤️
A true master.
Just, wow!
Super
Sweet good, good lord.
Yes, GDGC.
According to Dave Bragger, Gellert is in GDGC tuning, not Old Sledge tuning (AEAD). FUN but a bit harder to wrap your head around.
Those are the exact same tunings a whole step apart. Shouldn’t be any harder to play in one than the other.
It sounds like the tuning is low calico tuning, so it would be GDGB. That or high calico, which is AEAC#. You could play it with either, assuming I'm not totally wrong.
