Sometimes you cover a really niche topic and people cling to it because they’ve been waiting for someone to talk about that thing, and then sometimes you cover a really niche topic and no one is as interested in it as you are. This is really just a test on what I can get away with when it comes to info dumping about a show no one’s seen. There in lies the question, what is something so nerdy that even nerds turn up their noses at? Professional Wrestling! Freak who watched this show as it aired here, each show would indeed open with a performance from the guest band, they got edited out of official releases because of copyright but aired on the show itself as it aired.
I don’t care much for wrestling, but hearing you talk about it makes me fully interested and invested!

MTV was both the best and worst tv channel because of how insane some of their shows were

I still think it's funny that Vince McMahon genuinely thought that he would win a court case over who has the legal rights over the initials WWF and was probably surprised that the British courts ruled in favour of the Swiss based world wildlife fund for nature
so Vince changed the wrestling company name to WWE instead but the minute he found out about WWF why didn't he just change the company name out of respect we'll never know what he was thinking at the time cos it was over 20 years ago

@@BradleyBoy He was sadly in Lucha Underground too. He was in Impact[formerly TNA] too but when Speaking Out happened and a lot of people mentioned how much of a, using a family friendly term, jerk Joey Ryan was, he was released.

Back then when the show would air they would do the live performes first then have the musical guest do guest commentary but im sure with Viacom they had the performes edit out of the home release and re runs i believe
