The "America's Got Talent" franchise expands with this new series showcasing the most outrageous, unique and jaw-dropping acts of enormous scale and magnitude that simply can’t be confined to a theater stage. Contestants will vie for a chance to win a $500,000 prize and the ultimate title, the champion of "America's Got Talent: Extreme." Creator and executive producer Simon Cowell will judge alongside WWE superstar Nikki Bella and motocross and rally car driver Travis Pastrana. "America's Got Talent" host Terry Crews will also serve as host for "Extreme." Simon Cowell, Sam Donnelly, Jason Raff and Richard Wallace are the executive producers. "America's Got Talent: Extreme" is co-produced by Fremantle and Syco Entertainment.

There is some truth to it, any and almost every circus I’ve seen, apart from Cirque du Soleil (which only some of there shows meet this criteria) , has a flying trapeze act, with different variations to set up and structure.

I believe that there was only one tour from Ringling brothers and Barnum and Bailey that had a trapeze act as well

Agreed with simon. It definitely didnt have nothing special by any means go to a regular circus act and u will see better preformed stunts on every swing not like 3 flips and a fall then expect a yes

just this act at the Arizona State Fair.. Unfortunately, i have to agree with Simon.. i certainly appreciate the athleticism, skill, and courage it must take to do this.. but the passes got a little boring fairly quickly.. I assume it is tiring and physically demanding.. but the set only lasted for about 8 minutes, then they were done.. i guess you can only go side to side so many different ways.. maybe as part of a larger circus or event they would be great.. or mix in some other dance or acrobatic tricks on the floor, along with visual elements like Cirque du Solei does would take this up a bunch of notches..
