I'd cry in frustration because I couldn't get it... my mom would come in trying to help me but I threw in the towel because it was just too hard. Fast forward to today, I have a career as a professional dancer/choreographer behind me. With my newly developed eyes and skillset I see how simple the routine is, and it's funny because I was told dancing was a talent that you either had or you didn't have. I didn't have it at all, but I worked my ass off and managed to build a respectable amount of skill. Anyway I'm probably gonna reapproach my childhood failure and teach myself this dance, so that younger Austin can put this demon to rest 🤣 this was one of the very first memories I have of attempting to dance despite the fact that I didn't take my first dance class until I was 22 years old
