7-8L/100km is quite good actually for a 7 seater suv with naturally aspirated engine.. For comparison, proton claimed that x50 can achieve about 6.5L/100km but with more power and torque. But i wish perodua would come out with their own in-house engine with turbo.
Have been driving this for almost a month.. max speed 145km/h on highway super steady. Not much difference in fuel consumption when eco mode is turned on or off but switching it off gives the car more power.

I dont think so. Adding bars to it will not significantly improve handling, and even if it did, I dont think it has enough power to take advantage of any better handling. It already is struggling to go, and you still want to add weight to it?
I think is good because myvi 1.3 cc .I can bring my family with 7 people including 3children.it ok.because I bring always a weeked only .not always .think aruz more economi and good car.perodua is good
@@wahabtaslim989 You have a point on the carriage but bear in mind that persona is about 100-150kg lighter than Aruz.. Persona is running a 1.6 litre engine which produces 109ps if I'm not mistaken together with both manual or CVT transmission choices while Aruz only runs 1.5 litre engine and produce 102ps with 4AT transmission.. Surely the fuel consumption has some gap between them, given Aruz has less power and more weight..

Afta free. Trade allow 1 5 litre engine...That is why Asean cats are 1.5 litre instead of the usual 1.6 litre.

Definitely it has a place in society as an affordable 7- seater vehicle. There is enough power to just get yoo from A to B at normal driving speeds.
