Thank you for this giveaway! Our family tradition is going to the big holiday light shown together. We have pizza at the local restaurant and then all walk together thru the park. We love to drink the hot cocoa and take the horse drawn carriage ride that they offer. It makes me happy just talking about it!

When I was little it was always my family (Dad, Mom and Brother) and Mom's brother and sister and their families. Not a huge crowd, but what I remember most was Uncle John would get everyone still and ask the blessing on the meal. Then once everyone was seated and food passed, We started around the table with what we were thankful for that year. Since the cousins that are left live in other areas and the rest have passed on. But what I am thankful for today are all the memories and what I was taught in those years and that I have Jesus Christ as my Saviour. Also thankful for giveaways I get to enter and channels like yours.
Every Christmas is different with family dynamics always changing. I just try to have some sort of gathering around the holidays. This year I have transformed my unfinished 1600 square foot basement in to a cozy 3 bedroom apartment with gathering area using my personally made quilts as walls. I have also created an escape room like adventure where clues and puzzles lead to hidden and locked away quilt blocks that when found and arranged reveal a personally designed quilt.
Our favorite holiday tradition is decorating the tree with all the kids and our 14 grandbabies, they put there orniments for the year on the tree and the youngest gets to put the angel on the top.
Our favorite holiday tradition is to go see holiday lights together then come home sing carols by the fire drink some cider and watch a Christmas movie. Then each one of us got to pick out a favorite activity for us to look forward to do as a family in the season so we’re creating future unity instead of just about the 🎁. Then my final favorite is church service on Christmas eve to remember the true reason for our season. Thank you for the asking.

Our holiday begins Thanksgiving night when we head to a local place that has a hundred Christmas trees decorated! We spend time looking at all of them and then head off to get coffee and donuts at a local diner. Been doing this for 30+ years!

Every weekend after Thanksgiving we make cookies and hot chocolate and go see the holidays lights. 🎄❤
Decorating the Christmas tree and going to the lights show.
Every year, on Christmas morning, we would take turn opening stocking. Once stockings were completely opened, Mom would make homemade cinnamon rolls with maple frosting. Presents came after cinnamon rolls. It was wonderfully sweet day.
I love Christmas traditions. As a child we opened one present on Christmas Eve. Pj’s!😂
Now, each person gets one kind of wrapping paper for all their presents BUT no names on presents so they don’t know whose is whose! The reveal is always a fun time.
