I don’t understand how they are coming from some decent looking stables but the horses are in such poor condition? Why?

  • @denisejurosko5768

Why weren't they talking about the obvious extereme pain the oldest horse was in. He was quivering, went down, had hair missing & pressurer points from laying in trying to relieve pain 😢 It important to talk about the Last Act of Kindness being the most loving thing in some cases.😢 Very thankful though for their dedication to both horses!

A 300,000. Dollar riding arena and 2 horses in extreme pain. I dont understand. Any stable I worked at alerted owners and demanded vet care immediately. As an employee. Our only concern was the horses. Even over our jobs. To the point of quitting to walk collicking horses instead of cleaning frozen manure in minus 10 degree weather.

  • @lauralake7430

I was so touched by how careful you were, loading those surrendered horses. Such loving care for two lovelies who were afraid❤ edit: usher looks like his mom trimmed his bangs for school pictures, and they came out a bit short!

While I understand the anger about the condition of the horses, because that was horrible, especially when Bravo was put down and we don't even know if Sugarplum's feet can be saved... to answer question how could someone tape horses hoofs like that, the answer is mental health problems. They mentioned in the video that the owner had dementia and by definition, that is loss of memory and thinking abilities that interfere with daily life. Someone with dementia might not have the ability to rationally decide if the horse needs vet or farrier and in their mind (affected by dementia), wrapping feet like that might be a reasonable thing to do while having the best intentions for the horse. Unfortunately, what is reasonable for person with dementia is not always reasonable for people like us. And I think that the state the horses were in, we can safely say that dementia was probably not a recent thing. I not trying to take the side of the owner and their family, but just explain why the owner acted the way they did. Dementia is not easy and everyone who reads this, please, check often on your parents and grandparents, so if this ever happen to them, you can step up and help sooner than this owner's family could.

There is a poor Standardbred mare 19 years old pregnant her registered name is All-American mobile her father her sire 1/3 million dollars on the track her grandfather won quite a bit back in the 80s she is now at Elkhart auction in Texas and needs to be rescued. Can someone help her ?

  • @kristijohnson1216

it can be for the very best to put two old bonded horses down together. I did with my TB mare and gelding - late 20s. I had to justify it to some, but it was the most kind thing to do.

  • @Oktopia

Holy shit. There's no excuse for the level of neglect of those two new surrenders. My heart hurts.

  • @marshasmith6320

Eager to see Pauly trim the horses hooves that were taped up. Sad the other horse couldn’t be saved. Thanks for all you do for the horses and donkeys.

Poor sugar. You did say her owner had dementia. The whole foot situation is likely due to the dementia.

  • @pamdimitrio4972

Please give the mare pain medication and if you did thank you. I figured the gelding had already been put to sleep

  • @janemitchell8003

Thank you for helping God's creation.

  • @larnold7614

Thank you all for being so kind to the horses

  • @marymcallister5899

I just Loved the smile on the 1st man’s face when he adopted Remy and said “This is a dream come true”. . .

  • @lethalcurves1

1 thing I ALWAYS do, is what I call the “whoa before go”. I train my horses to “stand” before I attempt to mount. Whether I use a steps, or from the ground. If I go to mount and the horse moves? I say “No. stand” sternly(I NEVER yell, or yank on their faces. I’ll do it as often as I have to. Until they stand, & don’t move, until I get on, & I am ready to go. It’s really very simple..it’s a matter of repetition. They catch on quite quickly.

  • @kristawilson718

Omgoodness Sugarplum and her partner, their Feet!!!!💔❤️🐎❤️😳😳😳 WOW, He's barely touching his hoof to the ground! 🙀 PUT A LOT OF HAY IN THEIR STALL PLEASE! They NEED ALL THE CUSHION they can get!

  • @AngelWings5286

People can be horrible to animals the fact its from a very nice stables is very odd actually something should have been done why no one checked is beyond comprehension makes no sense no one cared enough that owner was sick and deteriorating way before this..at this point its abuse. Plain and simple sad really so many shouldn't own animals at all most dont think ahead enough or have emergency plans in place for any animals humans have become lazy protecting this place and its animals 😢

  • @pussnboots1

i bet it is duck tape on there
