I used to enjoy wearing pink. Then I was diagnosed with breast cancer and quite honestly couldn't stand the association with pink. Too much of a reminder of a very difficult time. It's been over 10 years now and I think I can embrace pink again. Thank you for reintroducing me to this lovely color.
I hear you! Your traumatic experience and the association to the colour pink are profound! That said, you are a warrior, so wear that pink like the super hero you are!!💗

I had no idea there were others who felt that aversion to pink! I felt like I was in a club I didn't want to be in...didn't ask to join, didn't want to wear the uniform! When I realized that the cancer didn't define me, I was able to find a way to come alongside others, much as you do.
I love baby pink and sherbet orange. It gives off a very 70's summer vibe.

A muted pink blouse with a cool grey tweed skirt has been one of my favorite looks for years now.
At 57 years old I finally realised that a plain pink or lavender cashmere sweater is beautiful with tweed. It really softens the masculine vibe of a tweed jacket.

Any shade of pink with any shade of green is beautiful. Like a bouquet of flowers.

Nice video! I love all shades of pink, and depending on the tone, it can be a neutral color. A color combination you left out is pink and beige, when it is well done it looks very elegant and sophisticated.
Thats one of my favorite combinations, too! Also pink with caramel and chocolate brown! I'm not a big fan of pink and black as I think it looks quite harsh, though.

Audrey, a few years ago when I finally decluttered my wardrobe and organized it by color, is when I realized muted pink\mauve was my “pop of color” 😊 I love pink and gray and pink and brown together.
I've discovered I like these color combinations too!
I love a peachy light pink with ivory in winter. I think this combo is so classy and cheerful when the sun isn't out as much.
In Spain we have kind of a saying that translates like “red and pink hideous combination “ and I think that is because the undertones of both colors are often difficult to match. You have to have a very trained eye to mix and match those colors.
I only dare to pair a really light pink with a splash of red usually a very cool red as to avoid to much clash and usually I prefer burgundy to red.
I love pink and grey,as well as pink and burgundy (light pink).I have a lot of that in my wardrobe

I think eyeshadow palettes can be a good source of inspiration for combing colours. Especially those with only 4 or 6 shades, it's more limiting so it has to match. Just a tip ☺️

Soft rose pink + camel is one of my very favorite combinations, Audrey.
Salmon pink is my happy color and the one color that best compliments my skin tone, hair, etc

Hi Audrey, I purchase scarves where mixtures of colours pull off the colour that I want to highlight. One of my favourite scarves is a floral one from J.Crew I purchased many years ago. It has pink , cream, orange, turquoise, blue, green and baby Robin blue. Every time I wear it I receive so many compliments. It’s exactly the colours that you spoke about in this video. In fact it would go so nicely with the green trousers that you have!

For most of my 30’s I avoided pink (maybe because I was a mom to a baby/little girl) however in my 40’s I’m really embracing this colour 💕

I love all the pinks! But really can only pull off more neutral dusty pinks or dark pinks to wear. I love that pink sweater your wearing, it’s gorgeous! 😍😍😍
As for pink and red together: I still love Princess Dianas outfit she wore to visit the Taj Mahal so much, a pink pencil skirt combined with a red jacket.
It is really impressive to talk beautifully without looking at any script.

I have some dusty rose tops and I think I should invest in some more burgundy. I dislike the the color red but I think burgundy is a good compromise. Could you do a video about different grey’s like you were discussing?

I used to wear a lot of red that I replaced with intense pink colors and I really like the color itself and the vibe of it.

I have a light pink knitted sweater, and also a hot pink blazer. I love pairing the contrast of black and white with my hot pink blazer, and wearing my light pink sweater with navy pants with white shoes for contrast. I do have a pair of burgundy pants which I think I will give a try with that!

You read my mind! I love pink! And literally yesterday I was thinking about how to wear it more! It’s difficult for me because I’m also a cool olive skin tone, and most pinks they sell around me are quite warm.
actually my favourite pink is dusty rose pink.. (it is a little bit darker rather than dusty pink) but what about pink and brown?? would that be a good combination??
YEs I am warm toned warm blonde, it warm skin....I have to wear warm pink shirts, blouses, and sweaters. I really like those with warm cream, camel, and cognac all the way through to dark warm brown blazers and jackets. That works well for me.

I loved this video!! Pink is my signature colour. When I open my wardrobe, pink jumps out!! I have been having fun with wearing pink with white, red, grey, silver, burgundy and a bit of blue. I have been lightening up my colour palette the last few years, eliminating black. I have been making my base colours burgundy, grey and blue. My jewellery is silver. It's softer and most things match.

For all of you true warm toned "Autumns" out there, coral is your pink. Apply the principals Audrey puts forward in this video to coral and other warm toned colors. Or, you can still wear pink, but wear it away from your face so as not to wash you out.
Got to say I'm a little jealous of all the Autumns and their beautiful colorings. An autumn wearing complimentary colours always lights up a room.

I am Warm Autumn and I feel kind of sad about it because I love pink... I have recently put together a mostly-pink capsule wardrobe because I love this color, only to find out about the color theory... Which I think has a point, I do look better in those autumnal colors
However, I just cannot get excited about the colors I should be wearing, so I guess I will leave it as it is for now

I love the softer shades of pink and other than when wearing with black as a strong contrast, I pair with grays, blues, and burgandies. These feel both sophisticated and beautiful. Pinks have been my love from when I was young to now in my 50's. Thank you Audrey for your thoughts and insights.
LOVE burgundy and maroon! As a deep autumn, those colors work really well on my coloring. Definitely lean more towards a salmon pink or a strong magenta, but I've recently been having fun incorporating more pink into my wardrobe 😊

I have always enjoyed wearing a pale pink with pearl earrings. Love it! I even wear them with dark blue jeans.
Pink Perfection! Pink is lovely in all shades....soft pinks to Fuchsia to electric pinks. I pair soft pinks with olive or khaki greens. I also love pink with burgundy/maroon/brick reds. Of course, gray is another great pairing for pink! Silver and pink is also lovely as is a shimmery sequins pearl piece.

Pale blush and olive green is one of my favorite color combinations. The utilitarian nature of olive green with the softness of pink is perfection in my eyes.

Great tips as always! I tend to be pretty boring in my outfits and pair colors with neutrals. I love the idea of pairing pink with burgundy/maroon; I never would've thought that it would make a good combination, but the outfits you showed looked amazing.

I personally am a favorite of baby pink, blush or a light, pastel-type pink. And like what Audrey said in the video, I do feel like red and pink works well together, especially if the color is more on a darker side (like maroon or wine red). Thank you for another well done styling video!
My daughter had quite a few clothes in pink and orange. It looked great on a little girl. I even made her cupcakes for her birthday once iced in various shades of pink and orange. It looked spectacular I thought.
