- I bought this Sandblaster to Blast Small Parts and little Nooks and Crannies that are almost Impossible to get with a sander. I will eventually take this cab to the local sandblaster and have them do the entire cab. I will get a sandblasting cabinet eventually for my small parts. I was really please with how this performed right out of the box. The more I use it I will be able to dial in the settings for optimal performance.

friend got one of these and it worked pretty well for a while but the sand wore out the nozzle pretty fast as well as the fittings and eventually it wore a hole thru the hose. this was just using it over a couple of weekends. It takes a lot of air to work well. 2 25 gallon compressors and they were never able to stay caught up.
It may be a really good idea to wear some sort of respirator or blast hood.
one word , silicosis , when it's in your lungs it doesn't come out , any one who sand blast needs to use a respirator
Too much talking.
I've been wanting one of these...thanks for the demo! Definitely on my list now!
No Problem I love it!!! Defiantly Get one!!
@@abinnovations6699How much media did you go through?
This is hilarious! Made me laugh.
Silica straight to the lungs. Hell yeah
You have to make a slit where there is already a partial break around the edge of the bottom of the top and then peel the plastic Edge all the way around off the top. I went through the same thing LOL
Good video. Thank you.
Thank you for the video do you think this sandblaster can remove paint from asphalt?
It look like it works good
How many gallons is your compressor?
I get bulk chemical at work that come in those buckets. I take a pocket knife and score around it to peel it easier. Not surprised most comments are about that. LOL! I think we all hate them. Good video.
Hahaha I know I feel stupid but that was a pain in the butt!!
@@abinnovations6699 what size compressor and what’s the scfm yours is putting out ?
@@johnnypantoja7611you want at least 15. Rlly dont know why he didnt show it
What size nozzle?
I thought you might explain how to use it. Thanks for showing 🤷♂️
Does your give you problems on not spraying the glass shears? Mine starts off great then eventually just shoots air and have to bang the hose around to keep the material coming
Try using a sieve when you fill it. Helps a lot.
Ok, so I was reading this morning this guy got a back massager and wrapped it around the tank and turned it on. He said it kept the tank shaking causing the material to keep coming out.
Hell yea. I need one
Do it they are bad ass!!
What size compressor are you using? How many cfm?
Make sure that the compressor you use has 8cfm or more, you can combine 2 compressors together.
Damn dude the silicosis it real.
How big is your compressor? Will a pancake work? What PSI are you shooting at?
When I used my sandblaster a bunch of media was coming out. Do I adjust the valve at the bottom like you did to fix that issue?
Yep
What size air compressor did tou use.
What the smallest size compressor that can be used with this?
what type of sand did you use
Which sand do you used
What gun did you use to spray it?
Bro he would drive me crazy! Work fuck. He's that guy everyone has at work
DANGER!!!!!! Look up "Silicosis" !!! BROKEN fine sand/silica dust is EXTREMELY BAD FOR YOUR LUNGS!!!! I made same mistake 30yrs ago!
@abinnovations6699 what kind of media did you use?
Social media 😅
what compressor set up did you use please?
I have a 80 Gal EMax Air Compressor. I have a video on here of me unboxing the air compressor that I used.
You didn't explain, what you filled the tank with, what the pressure was, how it worked or how to apply the gun.
Why don't u make a video and explain hero
@@alkhag1988 Can't be bothered Dippy
Can you put any medium in this, like soda powder?
Soda needs a different blaster that hf sells, coal slag works best for me in this one. Just shake out the dust first
@@Geyservillespeedshop This is the question and comment I was looking for.
What size compressor is needed to make this work?
The blaster has a minimum of 6-25 scfm I don’t know why the creator isn’t answering
How many CFMs is your compressor?
My Compressor is 31 CFM's at 100 PSI
@@abinnovations6699I think you mean 3.1 CFM
@boobo0 nope he said what he meant.
Do you reuse the sand? And how expensive is ?
Harbor Freight has 50 lb. bags for $70.00
What material did you use
I was using Glass Bead 80 Grit Blast Media and it seamed to work well. I also bought Black Aluminum Oxide 70 Grit Blast Media that I have not tried yet.
I want to see it taking off rust
What compressor did you use for this?
air compressor
😁
👌🏽i was tryin to figure out wat kind i needed to do the bay of my truck thanks again 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Hell yeah I am glad this was help for you. I am really happy with how this worked for the first time. The more you use it the better you can get the settings dialed in.
@@abinnovations6699 Nice video man. What did you set the HB blaster PSI to on the top? Where did you buy your media? I’m going to blast the engine bay of my old school before I drop the motor in. Did you have any damage concerns to the metal?
@@abinnovations6699
I have all sorts of questions. I’m looking to do the boxes on my truck. How much sand does it go through?
Will that work to remove exterior house paint? I have wood siding
A power washer should be strong enough to do that
And the power wash will open up the wood for the next paint
Every video I have seen on these blasters has the handles installed backwards
Get a pair of banding cutters and the bucket lids are so much easier
use a box cutter to cut the slots on the lid pushing down then pry up the sides to access the bucket
I will keep that in mind for the next one hahah I struggled!!!!
Have the container open before you start the video
Sealed for your protection!🤣
Jman
I probably won’t use my hand to check if it was working.
Why not it works Great!!! Hahaha
Air compressor CFM and gal capacity are what matters with this sand blaster. Maybe I missed it but I did not here you give those specs.
About 3hp will do 14cfm even though mine is about 9cfm really. I find it best to charge the sandblasting pot full up then compressor but start blasting just before air compressor is about to go off paving sand works great but get a proper breathing mask and hood
Maquina de brinquedo..
It was painful just watching him try to open the bucket😂
You ... did that ... in your own garage! lol. A TOOTHBRUSH would've been faster (if you include the cleanup).
I mean ... I want a sandblaster. Hell. I need one. But I'm thinking this was regrettable afterwards. lol!!
Lungs are for cowards!
Jeezus, Dude! Even in time laps, that container was kicking your ass! I don't have the patience for that type of sh*t. Do they want you to use the product, or not?
Hahahaha no shit!! Apparently they do not want this to spill!!!!
The tool for opening those buckets has been around for many years, it's cheap and works very well, I bought my first one about 35 years ago, sold at Home Depot, Menards, Lowes etc.
@@abinnovations6699 more patience thab me i wouldve cut the too off with snips 🤣
I should have!!
so is it just a tank or smth and u still need atleast 600-700l/min compressor for it?
Yes this is basically a tank that you fill the sand in then you need compressed air to operate.
I can feel my fingers ripping off, just watching him open that bucket
What a Pain!!!
Can you use actual sand?
No, it’s probably too moist.
No, The media that I was using was glass beeds. All the Media is specific to what you are doing.
What grit was the glass rated
your lungs are going to thank you
Handles on the sandblaster are supposed to be pointed outward, nice video though
I know that I just did not want them to stick out the way I was storing it lol
I was going to buy one of these but the cost of the sand and the amount you go through you can hire it out cheaper.
I don’t think that accurate whatsoever. Each mag of media is about $40 and blasts 200sq ft of surface area. Definitely cheaper per job even with adding in the purchase of this unit.
what you hire the sand aswell
Tip of the Day --- Get a Divorce Before Sandblasting and Then Get Remarried after Sandblasting !! Good Job -- The Windshield Glass Though Ugggh!!
Hahahaha I will remember that!!! Oh that windsheild is garbage it is cracked. I am replacing all the Glass.
Tell me about it same one pool chemicals come in!
Worried about the mess get a longer air hose and move to the grass
Umm...you do realize a respirator using this type of tool is A REALLY GOOD IDEA, right? Glass or aluminum oxide is gonna do a number on your lungs. Once your lungs have taken all they can handle and you start coughing up blood you'll figure it out. Unfortunately, by that time it'll be too late. SMH
Yes I know I thought about that after I filmed this what an idiot.
it's called siliacosas can also happen working with glass sheetrock cement it causes irreversible scarring in lungs which will only progress to a slow miserable death unless your fortunate to get a new lung also good idea to blow clothes off before removing respirator and enter home its the microscopic stuff you can't see that's most damaging
Or you could hold your breathe for the duration you're blasting 😆
STFU! He is a grown ass man! He understands this fact but simply forgot.
I work in industrial sandblast and I worry so much about this. We have air supplied respirators but it's always in the air.
1st thing you did was stick your hand out to see if sand was coming out! OMG! 😂☠️🇺🇸
Hahaha I know I am out of Control
@@abinnovations6699 As a fab Forman I gotta tell you it only takes a few pounds to cut the skin. Your compressor will drive sand deep under your skin causing infections so bad you could lose a hand and never be in the shop again. Stop thinking it's funny
@@stanfriedrick8128 I know that I did not have the sand in the Tank when I was doing that. I was feeling just the air.
You guys gotta wear a respirator. So many videos of no one wearing one. Just a little use and log term it's going to bite you in the ass.
I've worked with plenty of idiots who didn't use safety precautions for volatile substances, and I've personally suffered the consequences as a result. Please be smart and use the right safety measures before using these tools.
Was about to call osha at the 4 min mark..Jk 😅..
Any man that fills a grit blaster with an old styrofoam cup from the get and sh!y can fix about anything.
Cool but man put a mask on at least lol that stuff is not good to breath in
I know I thought that after I filmed this Glass Beads!!
Please be very careful using this tool. The red cap on top almost blow my head off. I had thought i realesed all the pressure from the canister. It was just a little pressure left i guess that cap shot at me like a bullet and just missed my face by a cunts hair😢
It’s ok to narrate, usually more engaging
I don't understand doctor, how did I get lung cancer.
That thing is a pos we had one on a job
Any media will affect your lungs. Newbies!
😂😂😂
Omg, please at minimum wear a dust mask!
Get a microphone
Don’t worry about your wife pal, that dust and chemicals coming from that car will kill you way before your wife does 😂, if you can’t afford overalls and proper respirator get yourself at least ps3 mask they only £3 a piece, better than heaving nothing to protect your lungs 👍
Biggest mistake 😢 shit everywhere
I hope you enjoyed your lungs - before this. Absolutely horrendous self harm not wearing a breathable mask. Viewer be ware!!
Please wear the correct safty equipment don't be like this guy
Don’t ever use bad ass and harbor freight in the same sentence. Support the country you live in or go live in the country you support. Buy American next time brother.
Waste of time.
Another useless no talking video. Why is everyone so God damn afraid to talk in their videos?
Hint. Quality sandblast media come in hundred pound bags.
One takes the bag and then piles 25 of them on the truck.
Later one lifts the bag up and puts it on the top of the pot. Then, using a knuckle, busts open a hole in the bag and tears it open. Pouring sand in the pot.
After that they do seven bags in to the pot.
Your problem is that the bucket is too small, too hard to open and your concept of blasting is like congress and the hop. Wall Flowers and Steve Harvey disco dancing fools
I am reusing some old steel to make a carport and trellis. all rusty. where do i buy the bigger bags of media?
So much useless video info
Well was nice knowing ya ...lung cancer will be your next video ...
Wet blaster works way faster and way cheaper
I bought one of these POS, ended up returning it. What a waste of time and money.
Why was it a waste of time?
