These guys are the most diverse acapella band out there. They are the best of the best
Home Free performed this when they competed on The Sing-Off. It's been 10 years since they won. This is their way of showing how far they've come. I think the only reason Rob is not sporting a pompadour is because he doesn't have enough hair. He's the only one of the group who keeps his hair short. Austin's hair is really long. He usually has it up when they perform live. Great reaction.
If you get the chance, go and see them on tour. They're sooo good, and when Adam Rupp lets loose it's a one man dance party. Just hope they come back to the UK before too long so I can see them again.
Thanks for the double feature! The guys did a great remake of Roy Orbison's classic song. I remember the cover Home Free did on the "Sing Off". This one is even more fun. Love the 50's-60's pompadour hairstyles & great outfits. Great song & video. The guys really rocked this!
"Remember My Name" is a great original song! Love the nostalgic feel of this song & the video. They mention a few of the country greats in this song. Also think it is a nod to the great baseball legend Babe Ruth. Austin sings about Willie (Nelson) at one point. Think his braids are an homage to Willie. Love Tim's lower tone in the verse he sings. And Adam is awesome as usual. These guys are so talented & in a league by themselves.
I've always loved the late Roy Orbison's music. The suits, pompadours and style are all of the song's period. Remember My Name includes the names of country singers and references Babe Ruth (the boys playing baseball) and Willie Nelson (Austin's braids). Austin usually has his hair pulled back. Watch "Sea Shanty Medley Live" - it's actually really long.

Never cared for Pretty Woman but when it’s a beautiful woman reacting I couldn’t pass it up. Ended up liking the direction they took the song

That is all Austin's hair. It is nearly to his waist now. I think Rob’s hair was too short to do much with it in Pretty Woman…all the other guys have long enough hair to make that 50’s do. I think Austin wrote the second song. That’s his hair…he’s been growing it out a lot but wearing it in a bun mostly. He wore the pigtails as a little bit of a tribute to Willie Nelson. The little boy in the video was a tribute to Babe Ruth who used to point at where he would hit the ball. Good one Jess! 😍😄
