A decision which literally anyone with a brain could have seen coming, given Gojo's entire character archetype, and the fact that if he didn't lose then the story would have been over (as Gojo canonically would have shitstomped every other villain by himself relatively easily). Lmao.
Gojo fangirls are bizarre. They straight up just wanted their Daddy Gojo to be cool and beat everyone, while every other character was a cheerleader, and for that to be the big climax to the story. Weirdo's.

Now that Buggy announced that Cross Guild will also search for one piece, i think Buggy will appear at final clash between Blackbeard and Shanks too. Would be extremely funny if he would be the only one left at this island and public will give him all the credits for defeating Shanks/BB. Also, Mihawk meeting Shanks could reveal their past.
Also, Buggy "winning" may as well be the "unexpected outcome" Oda hinted, because this outcome will be "real" in terms of One Piece universe for the public eye

There is a subtle continuous theme I realized from Mama Drawk, where everything is about waiting for when the time is right. Laboon, Shanks going for the One Piece, Mihawk fighting Zoro, etc etc. And Blackbeard’s whole thing is waiting for when the time is right. It calls back to the very first chapter, when Shanks doesn’t fight Higuma until the time is right, when his friends are threatened. And the Luffy does the same thing in Jaya, where he connects with Blackbeard because Blackbeard realizes that Luffy is doing essentially that. Maybe Roger was too early because he had to wait for when the time was right to strike using the One Piece. Maybe there does have to be a balance for the scales to be tipped.
Roger was sick he could not do it even if he wanted to that the entire reason he went to the last island because was going to die even if he did not go.
The main issue with the "most expected outcome," is that Oda said the outcome would be unexpected. Shanks dying is very obvious.

They had Zoro at #8 of all time over people like Kaido, Sengoku, Rocks Akainu, Ben beckman and they also put King at #15 of all time over Kizaru, Shiki, Oden and Rocks.

My point being that even though we are watching the same show/manga, the interpretation on who is stronger than who is wildly different. Granted this is just one list so take all of this with a grain of salt.
An example of haki emulating devil fruits I don't see discussed often is how Pappag thought he was a human and began to speak and walk like one. When asked how he can do this, he said something along the lines of "The world runs on willpower, kid!" And willpower is essentially haki.

Personally i like the idea that Blackbeard does not kill Shanks. Instead we get a reverse situation of Luffy after Marineford, so Shanks whole crew is dead after the battle with the Blackbeard pirates and unfortunatly he also finds out that he has a brother working as a God's knight. The one that could pull Shanks out of his depression would be Buggy.

Based on what’s going on in the story it’s hinting that Black Beard will be the next Yonkou crew luffy takes on.

2. Kid napped both Koby and pudding
3. And now he has Garp as a hostage.
All these are personal to our MC once he finds out about his Grandfather he will definitely rush to the pirate Beehive !

I’m so unsure of how this will all play out. I feel like Imu and the goresei aren’t the final villain of the series, Teech is. Teech is a being of darkness and chaos…and while the world government is positioned as the opposition to Luffy’s central ideal of freedom, it’s also is responsible for an established world order, which positioned as direct opposition to Black Beards central ideal of chaos.
Teech, not Luffy, might be the one to bring down Imu and the World Government, throwing the world into complete chaos.
I saw a theory that the Strawhats Will actually go to the moon and visit the ancient civilization. I think while they are there, Teech will overthrow the world government…and when the Strawhats return the world will be in chaos…Wano will be the last stronghold of stability (remember momo said he feels what is to come) and Teech will be trying to destroy Wano to get to Pluton.

lots of great evidence for this one- im wondering how much oda will focus on the side characters for the next arc (elbaf) as it may be as i suspect- the new op meta - egghead 2.0 but a training arc for luffy and instead giving us more into the worldbuilding. if this is the case then i can absolutly see blackbeard vs shanks come so soon as well most likely be focused on it for a while

Just as conq haiki is needed to imbue a sword with a soul and make it a black blade, I think devil fruits require haiki being imbued into a fruit or the Adam or Eve tree to be born. I think the people in the void century and particularly Joy Boy who has been theorized to have been a botanist had people impart their will into the future by creating a soul using their own haiki that can inhabit things like a fruit. In this way dreams never die in the cycle of death and rebirth. Maybe basic haiki is needed to make a fruit at all, while advanced haiki is needed for zoans. And conqueror's haiki is needed to give a mythical zoan fruit a soul.

One thing I've always been curious about is where did Big Mom get her Road Poneglyph? Was it already on an island in that location and she chose to build her kingdom around it?
I would like to see a battle between Shanks and BB before the Strawhats make it to Elbaf. It would really change up my idea of how the plot would go.
I was expecting more so the God Knights (or at least some of them) end up being the villains of Elbaf. I hope to see all four current Yonko alive by the time the location of the 4th poneglyph is actually revealed, as I truly believe it being moved was a plan setup by Whitebeard and whomever the Man Marked by Flames may be.
Since Blackbeard is a sneaky dude. I think he would wait til shanks and Luffy end up at the one piece exact location at the same time. Then challenges them both to a battle. Mid battle fakeout with the 1p shanks notices first b4 Luffy. S&B duke it out 1 on 1 b4 Luffy notices while the 2 are at the climax. Just 4 Luffy 2 witness first hand which 1 falls. Etc etc
I don't know if it will be from blackbeard.. but i am 100% confident that shanks will sacrifice himself to save luffy in order to parallel the Lord of the Coast event. I'm expecting it to happen before luffy really gets to reconvene with shanks, making the tragedy that Luffy could never return the hat like he's been planning the entire time.
You probably know how something you read about can lead to something in a completely different context? I think I managed to decipher the Katakana writing at 5:25... Is it the chiming of a bell? Does it read "Don!!" actually meaning "Bong!!" in English? So to make sure what it could possibly (also) mean, I compared it to German, English and French - and stumbled upon "Don" which can mean "put (something else😂) on" also in English (like changing the attire you are wearing) - So I can't blame you if you exclaim: "Huh?! What?!" 😁
one thing for sure. on of the major endgame power ups are mostly gravity control. blackbeard has that magnetic pull just like how in naruto rinnegan ability was gravity pull and push.

He said it’s not going to go how we think it will and for the most part everyone in the one piece community believe Blackbeard is going to beat shanks including me. How idk plot armor if we being real with ourselves unless beard got hidden abilities we don’t know about. That fruit can’t nerf haki I don’t understand how he can really beat shanks in a fight.

blackbeard already had his claws as a teenager in whitebeard's crew. he is seen with them on the same battlefield as kid shanks when roger and prime wb clashed in a flashback in wano arc.
Narrativly speaking, I see one square which would have to be circled regarding a Red Hair vs Blackbeard crew fight: If the actuall fight would be shown, the powers of Blackbeard's crew would be spoiled, making a SH vs BB crew fight feel less epic than it should. On the other hand if you do not show the Fight and just show the losing Side dead or at least clearly defeated, that would not flight to well with the fans. Therefore I would argue, the most likely scenario would be the RH and SH crews teaming up or the SH pirates basiclly tag teaming in for the exausted RH Crew at the last moment.
Also I have trouble squaring the dark rage of revenge with the loony toons Gear 5 - it is just to much of a tone and theme clash.
Maybe Blackbeard is like Bonney having inherited the powers of the mix-mix fruit that the Charlotte Dectuplets have explains his multiple personalities being him having absorbed his siblings in Utero thanks to the mix fruit

Watching the latest anime episode, bb definitely trains haki in those timeskip. He freakin tanked an s-hawk attack directly, he had enough will power to not get turned into stone and, he is either fast enough to get close to Boa/ react fast enough if Boa is the one who attacked.
Thus, he might actually pull of the killing of shanks

I know we've been told that Awakening is the highest level of DF powers, but just like Haki has at least one more tier I think there's one more for DFs which would be Incarnation.
I'll Black Clover as an example. The Devils were able to grant people to use their power and the strongest users could get up to 70-100% of the devils powers, but the devils were still their own entities to be summoned. Awakening a DF is finally having your body and will capable of handling the Devil of the Fruit's power. I think it's reasonable to believe that the power can slowly corrupt you or you willingly give yourself over to the DF's will when that happens the Devil of the Fruit after finding a suitable host can Incarnate into the world. While an Awakened user is strong and masterful with the DF powers in their own right, I think that the being from which the power originates from will still be more creative and proficient.
This can be another parallel between Luffy and Blackbeard. Blackbeard will end up relying on someone else's power to try and reach his goal, Luffy will ascend to the highest level of Haki and push forward with his own efforts and rely on his own power.

I think Liffy has to battle Shanks and Blackbeard as a part of his progression. With Shanks, it may be directly or indirectly. Luffy has to reach Shanks level of Haki and show he's surpassed him before he could ever claim the One Piece. Blackbeard is the master of devil fruits, and Shanks is the master of haki. Luffy is on his way to becoming the master of both with an awakened devil fruit and mastery of all 3 forms of haki.
I cant wait to read all of that in 5-10 years
I've always thought Shanks' story would end in four ways. These are in no particular order. 1, He is actually the main/final antagonist or villain and every other character has been a red herring. 2, He dies before Luffy can return the hat to him. 3. Shanks and Luffy have a Davy Back fight for the One Piece because they tie to Laugh Tale. 4, Shanks and Luffy have an actual fight, not to the death, for the One Piece.
You make a lot of solid arguments here, but man seeing luffy encounter a dying shanks and him acknowledging luffy as he dies would be soul crushing. This series continues to be the goat.
I strongly suspect that Shanks was injured by a Zoan devil fruit Blackbeard ate when he was a child (especially since Shanks has 3 scars and Blackbeard’s Wolverine claws have more than 3 blades). I also put stock into the idea that he’s either some sort of anomaly or experiment and has 3 souls or 3 personas, or 3 bodies in one and that this Zoan fruit is his original devil fruit. Either his Zoan fruit is why he doesn’t asleep or it has to do with what many people speculate are his extra souls switching with him so his “original self” can sleep while they’re awake…think of like how in part 1 Naruto whenever Gaara would sleep his inner demon would take over (and hell we know Oda and Kishimoto are friends and Sanji was going to be “Naruto,” BB will definitely have a tragic backstory like Gaara and we can see him looking sad with the moon in the background and Gaara’s tragic backstory was revealed in the “Assassin of the Moonlit Night” episode). I definitely want to see more of Blackbeard and his crew in action since they’re the most interesting thing about OP to me currently.

I dislike the theory for a few reasons:
I despise the idea that Blackbeard will have 3 fruits, it's too broken and honestly the third fruit won't have the buildup him getting the Gura Gura had so it would fee cheap as well.
Also the idea that Blackbeard ate a zoan devil fruit before the Yami Yami is so weird because how did not one person notice that?
Why a devil fruit having a personality is unprecedented and doesn't make sense given how not even Vegapunk has noticed that.
Also there's no way no one didn't know he had a devil fruit already when you can't swim the moment you get one and Blackbeard was on a ship damn near his entire life with the same people for over 20 years and he hasn't tried swimming once.
Why would he wear claws if he already has a zoan ?

The core message of pre timeskip was that Luffy wasn't strong enough to protect his family, friends and crew.
The core message of post timeskip will have to be that Luffy *IS* now strong enough to protect them.
Essentially Luffy could swoop in like Shanks did in Marineford and end the battle with BB escaping again.
I see where you are coming from but Luffy till he got G5, still lost a lot in post-timeskip. He saw Law got shot 3x and later got his arm cut-off, Sanji got blackmail-kidnapped, Pedro died, a Traitor almost killed Momo, Kaido Boro-Breath'd his crew into a melting Mountain top and for 2 weeks he just hoped they dodged it.
We will have to see how much G5 will ultimately matter, but theme of losing people close to luffy is very much real.
(They killed pregnant Woman after Roger was dead, just because he was on some islands, forget about BB, the WG doesn't play around if Luffy threatens them, everyone, even Condoriano, is a risk)
TL,DR: Luffy can't save everyone till the WG is defeated and I should go to sleep.

Can't you imagine a point in the future where depending on the outcome of the fight between Blackbeard and shanks and weather shanks survives or not leads to a point where Luffy is about to kill blackbeard, people are telling him no, you can't do it. If you kill him. You kill your dream with him and him saying I just can't let him live after what he did

And finally he will take down the IMU , my point is just like xebec wants kill celestial dragon in God valley where figarland , Roger and garp fought against xebec and taken down similarly shanks is a celestial blood so Blackbeard will also wants to eliminate shanks on certain island and luffy will eventually get this news and he will come to rescue shanks similarly garp comes in God valley....
I loved the video. Theories are also good. This just came to my mind. What if the battle of Shanks and Black Beard ends with Black Beard losing. Afterwards he runs away. So that when Luffy ends up fighting against Emu and the Five Elders. Black Beard shows up and instead of Luffy finishing Emu. Its Black Beard and he steals his devil fruit. And then Shanks comes to aid Luffy. And they have a battle with Black Beard. And after Shanks sacrifices himself for Luffy. Luffy defeats Black Beard and then pursues the One Piece. Afterwards he unites the whole world as the a true King.
Shanks has an archeologist on the crew that can read Poniglyphs. It's Monster, we haven't seen him do it, but that doesn't mean he can't

Random thought: what if DFs can eat other DFs? And the yami yami is a zoan fruit that’s eaten a logia. Which is why it behaves completely unlike other logia.
I can see a weird guy like BB with a weird body that uses unconventional tactics to ascend the later intentionally seeking an unconventional fruit. And maybe like the nika fruit, bb’s has unique properties that he hides. But unlike luffy, who thought his fruit was the gomu gomu, bb knew from the start that the Yami Yami was a fake name and perhaps he knew exactly what it was.
