I hear you about unexpected weather. Last night it was 1 degree here in North central Texas. ONE DEGREE. And we have had snow on the ground for days...not normal, we are not ok lol. I'm so jealous of your local buyers! That Hall set for $20 omg. And your spindle boxes are still my favorite thing you make. It's all so cute, easy to see why you sold it all.

So much so, I may've went out and got some ticking stripe fabric, scored some dropcloths at Habor Freight for $7/ea w/ Presidents Day sale & did 10 bunnies! Making carrots next! I sell mainly painted furniture & decor from a couple booths here in GA and you have given me motivation to make things to mix in w/ my vintage painted furniture & decor. I hope to get comfortable using the nail gun & jigsaw more. Thank you for the inspiration!!! Stay warm & congrats on selling out in your FB live! Woot!

I buy scarves, from good will all the time for blankets...i always find then in all textures, and huge sizes....for $1. (I don't re-sell, just use them in decor on bench/porch, and always giving them away) Although, they might be hard to find in your area. (I live in Indiana)

I love the green pitcher with the wooden spoons, the floral framed canvas, and those burlap carrots! You are making me think about doing a live sale soon---I typically only sell from my booth unless I get a custom order but with Covid restrictions in my area a live sale might do really well. Thanks for the inspiration, I'm enjoying your channel so much!
Yes! That would be great. You can also do lives from your booth to show new items. I personally like knowing what's at the store before I go shopping

Oh my ducks sold! 😂😂😂. I did end up buying a bunny and doing the concrete look for my bathroom! I also did a bird, painted it black and used white wax, it turned out awesome! Great stuff Julie, love your videos!!! ❤️❤️

Hey Julie- this old video popped up in my feed but of course I had to watch it. I just want to share a funny story with you. In this video, you had showed the beautiful boards you had made with pecky cypress. A few weeks ago, another CZcamsr posted a thrift flip video where she flipped a grain scoop. It was literally FULL of termite holes & carpenter bee tunnels. I was like ohhh crap & I commented to tell her to get that out of her house asap. She commented back that it was pecky cypress & a very expensive piece. I was like GIRLLLL please if you don’t want to take my word for it, do your own research. I was like those are NOT holes from fungus, that’s termites & carpenter bees 🐝 !!!

I watched so many of your videos last night before I couldn't watch another. Then I dreamed of finding so many things to makeover. Then my alarm went off for work. : ( But I did get 2 wooden chairs that had been sitting by the side of the road for several weeks. After seeing your spindle video. I went by to see if those old chairs were still there. And they were !! So I put them in my jeep. They have nice spindles. 😃
