i didnt like hayden until i saw her in this movie. i think this is her best role. she's so adorable in it, she's like the perfect girl in this movie =]

I'm confused on the matter too. Kinda gives me the sense of this contrived set up in order for the plot to happen. While it is not uncommon for young women to be attracted to men in their 30s and 40s, I wished it was a little less groomy. If that makes sense. I mean, I think any man would love a creative and passionate blonde young woman pine for their affection. But it just doesn't work for me, narratively.
Great movie, this movie was ahead of it's time. Love has no boundaries.

@mikomicho I'm going to try and watch it tomorrow. Hayden Panettiere is HORRIBLE but I really like Ken Leung so I'm gonna try to get through it lol

This is an awful melodramatic movie with clunky dialogue. It has an unclear message, contrived romance, and so-so acting.
