Yay new plants🤩 very beautiful. I love the sulcorebutia, I had like 10 before but only 3 left now and they don’t look very happy hahaha, they always leave me haha that’s why I stopped buying them even though I really love the color of it. Hope your subdenudata is a pink flowering one like my tufty. Awesome video showing how you repot them and of course the super duper close ups of them. Made me laugh when you showed all the pots hahaha, do they still have stocks? I want some. That’s not your last unboxing for sure!
Kenkoy cya, sis. Nagpapakaseryoso lang sa video. 😂 I wonder why you’re so sure that this won’t be the last unboxing...🤔
@@edithcoliagrandis haha dapat ilabas lgi pagka kenkoy pra npapangiti tayo lagi haha. Oo nga ang seryoso nttkot tuloy ako s knya hahaha. Haha I just feel that’s not his last unboxing hahaha
@@PurpleandThorns he’s not just funny but he is so good at imitating voices and movie characters. Let’s pretend that he can’t read our conversation and that we’re not talking about him. 😂 It’s super late here. Need my beauty sleep now. Goodnight, sis. Ganda ng bago mong phone. 🥳
@@edithcoliagrandis yeah I don’t think he can read our convo haha. Tell him he have to show us his other talent aside from filming haha. Nyt nyt sis. Ingat lagi salamat 😘
Haha I see everything 😂 Oh I hope this Tufty has a pink flower as well, that’d be awesome. With Sulcorebutia they like a very gritty mix, they have quite sensitive roots and they love full sun, the more direct light the better. Also easy on the watering with them. They still have stocks of these pots last time I checked plus some other sizes, better get them before I do 😂 It probably won’t be my last unboxing, you never know haha. Thank you for watching and commenting as always Katherine, from Edith & myself, have a wonderful evening 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜

Thank you so much Lyn 😊 I just love the colour of the Sulco, really do hope it retains that colour. Tufty is so cool looking haha. Yep we always find room for one or a few more haha. These pots are great, great price too at 30p each, Ive seen these style pots sold elsewhere for 99p each! Awesome unboxing! I don't know wich one is my favourite😍! The Notocactus inermis is unbelievable perfect. But the colour of the Sulcorebutia... I have a tiny pup that I found in the parking of a hardware store, abandoned by it's mummy😄, it seems that someone bought a clump and lost a pup... and it went dormant due to the stress, rooted slowly, and after that started to grow very early in spring and etiolated... A disaster, but it's still alive🤣. I recommend to give them the more sun, gradually, plenty of light, air and heat keeps them growing compact and purple. I like the pots a lot, I'm going to look for other colours. And the music of SergePavkin, oh! I love it!👌. Have a nice weekend in UK and in Singapore 😘💕🌵☮️🌺.
The plant was so lucky to be found by you. ❤️ Muchas gracias amiga. Hasta el siguiente video. 🥰
Thank you so much Vanesa 😊 That’s great you found a pup of one of these Sulcos. Yeah they do like lots of sunlight, the more the better. A gritty open mix is recommended for them too. I like these pots too, wish they came in black but I’m not sure they do. Serge’s music is fantastic, very talented guy. Thank you for watching and commenting as always Vanesa, from Edith & myself, have a wonderful weekend 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜
When it comes to that sulcorebutia, you and me both!! It took me a year to get one of these!!! Last year I ordered a plant from the only place I could find in China. I got scammed on that one. They sent me some bogas seed that weren't even cactus seed!!! It was supposed to be a plant! The seed grew some kind of weeds! This spring I was able to find an honest source and now have a nice little plant. You will love the flowers on the Parodia werneri!!!! It's one of my favorite cactus flowers!!! Nice purple!!! Beware of tender roots! Had to graft mine. Just can't keep this one on its own roots!! Great plants!!! Thanks for sharing them with us Daz!!! Show us the werneri this spring when it blooms!!! From Morris park in the Ozarks to the U.K. & Singapore, have a great weekend guys!!!! Peace,Love,Plants!!!✌💖🌵🌷🌴🌺🌲🌻🌸
These Sulcorebutia “Lychee” seem to be hard to keep alive. Several of our friends have made the same comment. I always see these grafted here in SG. I am really interested now on how Daz will handle this plant. 💪❤️
Thank you so much Clyde 😊 Yeah I’ve been after this variety of Sulcorebutia for quite some time, couldn’t pass it up and it was only £6 as well, I’ve seen them sell for a lot more than that. Glad you managed to find one as well 😊 I can’t wait for the Parodia to flower, hopefully at the same time my others do, seeds! Strange these don’t do well on their own roots for you, they are listed as an easy beginner cactus on some sites, but I’ll definitely keep an eye on it and the other two I have. Thank you for watching and commenting my friend, from Edith & myself to you and Deb, have a wonderful weekend 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜
@@edithcoliagrandis Mine is on its own roots also. I might graft one of the offsets just to be sure I don't lose it. I know it needs a cool winter to bloom well from everything I've read about it. So I'll cover both ways to see. From Morris park in the Ozarks , to the U.K. & Singapore, have a great Saturday!!! Peace,Love,Plants!!!✌💖🌵🌷🌴🌺🌲🌻🌸
Wee!!! That sulcorebutia is purple gorgeous! 😍 Do you know what color of flower the Tufty produces? That’s nice that you included the potting up video here. I like the music. There’s drama in it. 👍🏼 Great picks! Who buys “just pots” anyway. Lol! Remember what I told you about the Sulcorebutia pups... 😉
What about the sulcorebutia pups? I want to know please, mine always dies.
Thank you so much Ana 😊 I’m pretty sure Tufty produces white flowers like the regular subdenudata. Haha yeah that wouldn’t have made for an exciting unboxing just showing 30 pots 😂 I will remember what you said about the pups, if your recent one doesn’t make it then one of these will be for you 😉 Thank you for watching and commenting as always Ana, from Edith & myself, have a wonderful day 🌵☀️🌸🌼🌺🏜☕️
@@PurpleandThorns what I’ve found with Sulcorebutia is they like a very gritty mix, their roots are quite sensitive. Easy on the watering. They love full sun, the more direct light the better. They can be spider mite and mealybug magnets too, so have to keep an eye out for those. 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
@@PurpleandThorns they don’t like their roots being moved too much too. Choose the variety that has more tap-like roots like S. arenacea. S. heinzii is quite a robust species too. 🥰
Very nice plants! Once lockdown calms down a bit I'll go over, they always have a few one off, rarer cacti dotted about. The sulcorebutia is so beautiful, I'll definitely look around for one of those. 🌵🌺🌸
Thank you, Henry 😊 Yes they have some nice plants on there, good prices as well. Thank you for watching and commenting, have a great weekend 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜
Four choice plants that would be welcome in most collections.
Thank you 😊 Couldn’t resit getting these, always nice getting hold of wish list plants. Thank you for watching and commenting, have a great weekend 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜
Excellent video Daz... Cactus Shop has some really nice selections lately, it's hard to not buy them 😄 I especially loved the Notocactus and what a good size and it looks unblemished too 👌🏻 really nice to see the repotting footage which really showed the process and it was so well executed, I did laugh though when I spotted the Mealy Bug just before you made reference to it's presence 🤣 he looked like a stray one!
Have a great evening 👏👍🏻🌃🌵😊
Thank you so much Claire 😊 Yeah they have some very nice plants on there at the moment, I just wish the site ran quicker, painfully slow. Yeah the Notocactus is a beauty, and that rogue mealybug didn’t last long 😂 Thank you for watching and commenting as always Claire, from Edith & myself, have a wonderful evening 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜

Did you get all of their bowl stock? hahaha I need to get them as well I like their shape. Lovely plants I've sulcorebutia but is much darker maybe a different variety.Notocactus was a star of the video-absolutely gorgeous. I have another unboxing video coming out soon and I know it won't be the last for this year🙈
Haha thank you Magda. They have quite a few of these pots left in stock, and some different sized ones as well. Yeah there’s a few varieties of this Sulco, this purple one has been on my list for a long time. Your videos are so relaxing. I'm currently trying to rebuild my collection of cactus and succulents since a lot have died for the past months, including my dioscoreas. :(. Mabuhay!!!

I thought so! More like last unboxing for the week! 😂 I loved the video, Sweetheart. ❤️ Those plants are gorgeous and they have their own unique traits that’s why they made it on our wish list. I love them all! 😍 Serge’s music is just perfect in this video too. That man is brilliant! I noticed too that you wear gloves when you handle potting mix and not with spiny cacti. I do the opposite. 😂 Wonderful unboxing and i enjoyed watching it with you, as always. ❤️🤗🥰♾😘❤️
Haha thank you so much my love 😂❤️ Can’t say for sure it’ll be the last unboxing this year, you never know 😂 Yeah as you know some of these we’ve been wanting for at least a year! Love Serge’s music too, just hope there’s no issues with this one down the road. Yeah I don’t like getting soil under my nails, so gloves it is haha, you know I never wear gloves for repotting, they just get in the way. Enjoyed watching with you too as always babe, thank you for all your love, support and encouragement my love ❤️🥰🤗😘♾❤️

Wow Daz, I like all 4 new purchases but if I only had enough money for one I’ll go for the Noto. It’s really beautiful with a perfect round shape. For some reason I’ve killed my Sulcorebutia twice but I saved some pups from the 2nd. They’ve been air dried for a week now and I hope after potting they won’t die out on me too. Any advise, Oh Wise Master? Haha 😂...if you’ve any tips please share. Love the end session of them all nicely potted up. Have a wonderful Saturday!
Thank you so much Molly 😊 Yeah the Notocactus is a beauty, pretty much unblemished too. With Sulcorebutia I’ve found they love a very gritty mix, not much organics, they do have quite sensitive roots. They love full sun all day, the more sun the better. Easy on the watering with them as well. They are spider mite and mealybug magnets I’ve found as well so must keep an eye out for that. Thank you so much for watching and commenting as always Molly, from Edith & myself, have a wonderful weekend 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜

@@Cactimania ordered notocactus, rebutia and also some euphorbias ☺ happy planting 😊
@@jhumelmercado8847 great stuff. Hope they’re beauties. Happy growing 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜
ive got a sulcurebootia, soo n after i bought it, it developed a hole down the center, i thought it was dying, but lots of mini cacti grew on it.
Yes this cactus is a prolific offsetter. Also if the growing point on cacti get damaged in any way they will also produce offsets. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
Great video and nice, dramatic music 🤩 How come you repot at this time of the year?
Thank you, glad you enjoyed 😊 I don’t usually repot this time of year unless it’s absolutely necessary. With any new ones coming into the collection I will get them out of their not so good nursery soil, clean them and repot them, mainly so I don’t introduce any pests to other plants or let any existing ones breed, as you saw with the Notocactus it had a pesky mealybug on it. Thank you for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜
Seems to me like ur never running out of space for plants🤔
For me it's a 24/7 problem😅
Haha as Lyn from Desert Plants of Avalon always says, there’s always room for one, or a few more! Seriously though I am on the limit for space now, without having several grow lights as well I don’t think I would have made the previous two orders. I get the feeling our weather is going to get a lot colder soon as well so it can be a dodgy time of year buying new plants. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜
Real nice....Was this ones you bought yourself??
Cheers mate, yeah a little order I did from The Cactus Shop, couldn’t resist getting a few more wish list plants haha. Cheers for watching and commenting mate 👍🏻🌵☀️🌼🏜
They all look so beautiful!! I’ve just got a Sulco Rauschii however I’m in a tropical country, Singapore. Any idea about it’s chances of survival or any care tips?
Thank you 😊 My girlfriend lives in Singapore and grows many different cacti there. I shall get her to reply to you as she’ll be more qualified to give you some growing tips on growing these plants there haha. Thank you for watching and commenting, have a wonderful day 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
Hi hi. Allow me to reply please. 🥰 Most of the specimens i see here in SG nurseries are either grafted or de-grafted and potted up with the small stock hidden and have very little to no chance of survival. If you could find something grown from seed, you have a better chance. They need cool temperatures though to retain that purple colour. Hope this helps. Thank you for your comment.
@@edithcoliagrandis That’s a pity, these fellas are so interesting to look at. Would popping them in the fridge at night help? I was trying to avoid grafting them to maintain its looks!
@@klee9470 oh not, not in the fridge please. An air-conditioned room would be good for as long as they receive ample sunlight. They can even take direct sunlight but properly acclimate them first if they have not been under direct sunlight for a long time to prevent shock. 🙂
@@edithcoliagrandis Oh alright, I’ll do just that then! Thank you for the tips dear!
