On the light saber effect you can add intermediate frame generation to add that afterimage effect 👌🏻
The Superman effect actually turned out pretty good... Well done
For making a sand blast impact u can use a speaker woofer unit..put a plastic sheet over it..play a blasting bass..and then later or enlarge and mask it in the footage..it will give you a great punch on floor effect as well..you might have to slow it a little,blur and smooth it and u will even be able to get a punch impact circle..

The lightsaber keyframing isn't working for me, every time I attempt to move it to line it up with the sword, when going frame by frame the effect bends and doesn't move straight to cover the sword?

what i did was i went into after effects and downloaded a third party saber plugin, it’s a lot better and i would recommend using it, you can search up a youtube video finding it

2:45 When I key point, I got break at middle of the sword. It keep 3 point, not 2 point , so my sword be breaked, not straight. Can you help me ?

Gil Cohen That wasn't a good lightsaber. I recommend rather using the free plugin saber from Video Copilot or the one in Hitfilm Ignite Express.

I followed the guide exactly but when I move the end points and start points the middle of the light saber doesn't move causing the light saber to make a V

Regarding the Light saber effect, could you please explain how to resolve the issue with it bending in the middle when adjusting the start and end points. seems like a lot of people are looking for a resolution to this (myself included)....

Now, in the old days of Hollywood, when they wanted some dirt spray for bullets or explosions, they would bury the end of an Air Hose that was connected to an Air Compressor. When you release the air, it shoots dirt into the air.

Check out Saber from Video CoPiolt. Its a free plugin that you can do an insane amount of stuff with. its got lasers, beams, arcs, anything you can think of. You might of heard of it but it makes lightsabers much cooler.
