- 14 hours is a long time, especially when you're limited to the confines of an economy seat, and that's exactly what we'll be doing today, flying onboard the Emirates A380 from Washington Dulles to Dubai. This looked like an very nice trip. I went on Emirates ten years ago on the A380 from Sydney SYD to Auckland AKL and return. Best flights I have been on. The registrations of the planes I went on are A6-EEQ towards AKL and A6-EDZ on the return trip back to SYD.
