I agree with that. I mentioned that too.
Hated the rise gimmick. You can do the same effect with equivoke and it’s much cleaner in my opinion. Plus it’s not an ACAAN it’s a CAAN, as you have to force just one card using the rise gimmick.
That’s a fair view and I don’t disagree. I guess to everyone else aside from the participant naming card it looks like an ACAAN. I’m not a huge fan of equivoke if I don’t have to use it, but I also really like Pete’s lesson on equivoke in this kit.

Chris. Again thank you for all your reviews. I’d like to suggest a subject for your pod cast. Everyone knows Penguin, Ellusionist, Vanishing Inc. however, there are several vendors,that are unfamiliar to us, that are the only source for their magic. Who are they? Are they focused on mentalism? Card magic? Parlor magic? I found out about Loosh (?) thru your wallet review. Who else is out there?

I'll be honest i got so much more out of the first kit, than the second one.
I absolutly hate that they used the Ghost deck (i don't like that design whatsoever and i think they should have gone with a standart not custom design) and have not given you a pdf of the box. As far as i know, if the Tuck breaks, you have no way of getting a replacement. I am also extremely sceptical of the of the rise gimmick in performance. What i really cannot stand is that the rise gimmick has a mini usb port. Sorry they made in 2023 just use a usb c port. Its not even more expansive. The shiner is to big in my opinion, but its basically just a mirror. The spiderpen is a bad joke in my opinion and has absolutly no place in this. I agree that the Envelopes should have come preparred. Generally i think the kit was really made for Peter and his style of performance. Cause if you don't have great audience management and the kind of style Peter has, it is quite difficult to get the same reactions. I like the Bulldog Clip.
All in all i am a bit dissapointed in this. Peters extra teachings are great. So if you like Peter and his methods. Get it, if not i wouldn't recommend it
A lot of people have said they liked the first kit better. I kind of forget a lot of what was in the first kit but maybe I’ll have to go back and watch it. I did also say that I didn’t like the ghost deck in my unboxing video. I too wish they used a standard deck. The rise gimmick is so so for me. I’ve used it a number of times and it’s worked as it’s supposed to but I know that won’t always be the case and eventually someone will say something. Even the times it’s worked I’ve wondered if they were just being nice.. but the reactions seemed legit so I took it as a win. The spider pen sucks.. no more to say about that hahaha. Thanks for your input man, I agree.
@@ChrisEdwardsMagic yeah, i mean the two person telepathy act would work well with the rise gimmick, but you need someone else for it. Also the range of the gimmick is not that great. But your review was really really good and i shared many of the points you made
