This song is in the POV of the Man in the relationship, talking about how jealous he is of everything that surrounds her. React to her VMA 2019 performance!

Hola familia, besos desde España. Precioso bebé. This song is part of a medieval book "Flamenca". Rosalía has made an album about it "El mal querer". The chapter 3 is about jealous.
This video referes the crazy and terribles images of jealous. Lyrics, more or less (is not easy at all to translate). "I think in your gaze as a bullet (shooting) in the heart": Pienso en tu mirá (mirada) una bala en el pecho. "I feel fear when you go out smiling to the street, cause everyone can see the dimples in your face": me da miedo cuando sales soriendo pa (para) la calle porque todos pueden ver los hoyuelitos que te salen.

Hey! I'm sure someone has already told you that the album "El mal querer" is based on a medieval occitan novel called "Flamenca", which main theme is a toxic relationship. Each song of the album refers to a chapter of that book (that's why the songs have two names like "Pienso en tu mirá - Capítulo 3: celos"/ "I think about your gaze - Chapter 3: Jealousy").
The song talkes about the husband's jealousy when she walkes outside alone. The first sentance can be translated as "It frightens me when you leave
    Smiling to the street
    Because everyone can see
The dimples that appear". And the chorus is from the woman's perspective "I think about your gaze, your gaze is a bullet pinned to the chest
I think about your gaze, your gaze is a bullet pinned to the chest
I think about your gaze, your gaze is a bullet pinned to the chest".
    :)

Good comment, although I think the chorus is also in the man's voice. Think about her gaze, either as another expression of the obsession he has with her and her beauty, or because he thinks that she looks at other men and steals their hearts (male breasts with blood), or because she already is throwing to him reproachful gazes (later, he says: "So pretty that it threatens
/ When you are silent, you scare me / As cold as snow / When it falls from the sky"). I think that it makes more sense than the point of view changing during the song. 🙂 Pero vete a saber, con las letras de la Rosi nunca se está seguro de nada, jaja.

Please react to De Aqui No Sales and Bagdad next!
This song is about Jealousy and how it destroys their relationship. The first half there are many references to looks and eyes always watching and accusing even the most innocent of men/boys of wanting her. If his looks could kill they'd all be dead! You can see at the end the man destroying "their home" in a jealous rage. The delicate figurine is how he sees her (virginal and fragile), but in reality she is strong and leaves him, triumphantly standing over the dead relationship at the end while he flees into darkness.

Hi, so interesting the symbolism of this video about the fight of a girl enclosed in a paternalist relationship with a jelous trucker, she start to discover his infidelities and decide to wake up and leave him, is specially hard the image of her submised in the center of a group of men like a Bukakke, representing the machist society and how she stand up and liberate herself, finally he crash and she win... Lots more of details to explain but quite difficult to write whin a mobile phone... I love when she stars walking around the room and crossing to the same room like in a bucle... This 30 years old girl is so creative, inteligent, and her vocals and voice control is amazing... Cheers

Hahaha... You're both lovely, guys. You said it right, "poquito" it would be the translation of "a little bit".
I've seen that some people has answered yet to the meaning of the lyrics of the song, but, anyway, for what it's worth, she's speaking about an abusive relationship, where the woman is in danger and the man hurts her and is able to kill her, if she goes on with the relationship. It's the same topic that is being developed since the first chapter of the story: "Pienso en tu mirá", that you reacted to in the past.
As she's in danger, physically and emotionally, that's why she appears aimed by many guns, since she could die, murdered by her partner. The same with the injuries and blood that are seen in the video, and also when a man appears breaking everything in a lounge with a baseball bat. It represents the anger of the man.
By the way, as others has told you too, the translation of the title it would be "I think about your glance", although originally the last word, "mirada" in Spanish is pronounced in a shorter way, because that's how Andalusian people says that. And the stress goes in the last syllable, "mi-RÁ", like if it had an accent there. I'm saying this just because I know you're curious about it and willing to learn more, because you do it really well for not being natives ;-) And she refers to his glance not because it's beautiful but just the opposite, because she's afraid of him, and the way he looks at her, always watching her. In the lyrics she explains this more, saying that he's afraid of her going out, because he thinks another man will fall in love with her, to cut a long story short, and he's an abuser and extremely jealous.
I'm looking forward to your next video reaction!!! Love your channel and both of you. You're really nice and outgoing

quick advice and probably out of context(most likely it will be🤣 ) : if y'all want to be more accurate with your Spanish learning , i will give you a tip. i used "you tube videos" to learn English. First pick songs you love, second, try to pick songs that are on the romantic theme. (They are more poetic and have better words) Learn the tunes, memorize them, build a vocabulary , and always look for the words that first pop in your mind. those are the key words your lovely brain its assimilating, don't ignore him or her and fill his or her learning hunger and don't be afraid to speak it. practice makes perfection. with love a new puertorrican subscriber

It frightens me when you leave,
    Smiling towards the street
    Because everyone can see
the little dimples that come out
    And from the air,
    When it lifts your hair
    And from the gold,
That I saw you tying to your neck
And from the sky and the moon,
*because you wanted to gaze at it
Even from the water that you drink,
    when you wet your lips
**I think about your gaze, your gaze, it nails me, like a bullet to the chest
I think about your gaze, your gaze, it nails me, like a bullet to the chest
I think about your gaze, your gaze, it nails me, like a bullet to the chest
    I think about your gaze,

the little dimples that come out
It frightens me when you leave,
    Smiling towards the street
    Because everyone can see
the little dimples that come out
    So beautiful, that it's threatening
when you're quiet, it frightens me,
    As cold as the snow
when it falls from the sky
When you leave for the door,
I think that you'll never return
And if I don't hold onto you tight,
I feel like it'll be my fault
I think about your gaze, your gaze, it nails me, like a bullet to the chest
I think about your gaze, your gaze, it nails me, like a bullet to the chest
I think about your gaze, your gaze, it nails me, like a bullet to the chest
I think about your gaze, your gaze, it nails me, like a bullet to the chest
I think about your gaze, your gaze, it nails me, like a bullet to the chest
I think about your gaze, your gaze, it nails me, like a bullet to the chest
I think about your gaze, your gaze, it nails me, like a bullet to the chest
    I think about your gaze,
    I think about your gaze
It frightens me when you leave,

The music sounds louder than the lyrics, I speak Spanish and sometimes I don’t understand, I don’t know if she’s from Spain , or her accent is from Cuba. It might be the slang. Pienso en tu mirada means,” I think about your look. But not the look.... it’s the way you look at someone or something. “
