Retiring at 40 is my goal. No wife, no kids just me and my life living for me.
Love it! You got this!
Thatâs the dream right there. Big bucks no stress.
@@SledgeHammer99 it's possible but I need to buckle doen
Nothing Wrong with that
Very possible, especially with no wife or kids.
There are a lot of strategies to make a tongue-wetting profit that the average Joe don't know. Personally, the financial market for me seems the only way forward with my long time horizon (accrued roughly $457k in gains since Mid 2021 ) but if you donât have that fortune of time itâs a tough market out there almost nowhere feels safe!
If youâve got patience I believe itâs a great time to invest⊠Iâm no expert but as Warren buffet said heâs seen this happen a number of times throughout his life
I've known I had wanted to start investing for a few months but just haven't been brave enough to start due to the market so far this year. I have $60k I want to transfer into an S&S ISA but it's hard to bite the bullet and do it. $457 is a huge milestone, Please what's your strategy? I will love to have an insight
I began with a fiduciary portfolio advisor by the name *MARTHA ALONSO HARA* . Sheâs verifiable and her works ethics is in accordance with the US investment act of 1940. Her approach is transparent allowing total ownership and control over my portfolio with fees very reasonable in comparison with my investment income. Also, She covers things like investment insurance, ensuring retirement is well funded, and discussing tax advantages and ways to have a volatility buffer for investment risk. many things like that.
Word of the day: fiduciary. do not talk to anyone who is not a fiduciary to you, who explains everything.
*MARTHA ALONSO HARA* really seems to know her stuff. I looked her up on the web using her full name and found her page, read through her resume, educational background, and qualifications and it was really impressive. She is a fiduciary who will act in my best interest. So, I'll book a session with her
Youâve got this dialled in. Great intro to your channel.
Nice plan. Keep at it.
Just want you know man your a inspiration bro and thanks for all the advice been following you for over a year. Keep it up
Looking good for 31 bro đŻ keep up the good work đ
Appreciate that big time đ«Ą
I haven't had consumer debt for a few years now. My house is about to be paid off this year. I'm doing dividends, brokerage accounts, and maxing all the normal retirement account types. I have a savings rate around 70%. I'm almost 32 and hopefully retiring early by 40. No kids and im basically a digital nomad for half the year currently. When I think of retire, I mean just getting out of the rat race of corporations.
Great plan. I retired early a couple years ago at 42 on a similar plan with investments, dividends, interest and rentals so it is definitely doable.
Good insight on the bigger picture
Thanks Joe!
Iâm 25 right now from SoCal, Iâm also doing the 100k challenge letâs go!
You should do a video with an update on your rental property with numbers
Having a plan is key
Nailed it
I think it's a helpful video JJI got started It's too late to retire early but the things that I've learned from you and other friends like Brad have helped me put together a plan to retire without fear when the time comes
Love hearing that Robin!! You are doing great in your journey, keep it up!
Very similar plan for me as well 29 this upcoming week I already have dividends to pay some bills from brokerage account I continue to reinvest I just got set up in real estate I expect money to be flowing by the year end and next I'm building up a business to help fund my real estate brokerages even more up hoping in 10-15 years I can cut the 9-5 job to more of a 9-12 job
Sounds like you have a plan and that is one of the most important things to have. Keep it up!
72T SEPP loophole for your retirement accounts
First I need to get in the best shape of my life. Continue posting on CZcams and streaming and then get out of debt slowly.
What do you consider retirement?
My definition is not having to clock in to a job so based on that Iâd say youâve been retired 1.5-2 years already.
Iâd like to âretireâ in 4.5 years at 35.
Retirement to me is not having to work for money. Iâm still not 100% financially free so I wouldnât be able to âretireâ if I wanted to.
Once I have money coming in that I donât have to work for and it covers my lifestyle, Iâm retired.
How do u cover ur medical coverage?
Right now we use Medishare
When did you start making this retire in your 40âs goal. Iâm 19 but I made the goal to retire in my 30âs since I was 16 and Iâve been saving and investing since then. Thoughts?
I found the FI movement right after I graduated college. So it has been a bit.
We have 3 kids (15,10,7) Our monthly grocery bill is more than our mortgage. Should we get rid of the kids or the mortgage? đ€·ââ
Haha I feel you on that Corey đ
Do you also sell options in your retirement accounts?
I do in my SEP.
Do you already have accounts set up for your kids' college education?
We do
Hell yeah man my goal is 47 as that's when I'll have 25 years into my Pension and anything I'm doing after that will be because I Want to do it! Living as Frugally Possible now that way I can live better later!!
That will be perfect Ryan!
Great video! But âretireâ earlier. So many more doors open up when you are free. My wife and I did it at 28 and wish we would of worked towards retiring sooner. Keep up the good work.
You retired at 28?? How is that even possible? Are you a minimalist? My theory is that you can't even CALL it retirement until you're 50. I think what you are doing is a JOB /WORK VACATION.... But good for you! Stay happy!
@@charlesbrenneman4150 I have a CZcams channel dedicated to our journey. We started buying real estate in our early 20's built up a sizeable portfolio and sold it off in 2022 and began buying bigger buildings in up and coming areas while at the same time investing in stocks, crypto, private lending. Now we mainly just look for more real estate opportunities and travel.
Love your content btw, do you lift lol â€ïžđâ€ïžđ
I try to lol
@@jjbuckner you have def changed over the past few months
I am 35 years old now I retire this year 2023.
You don't need retirement, you need a long vacation.
