DO NOT!!! buy an axle-back exhaust

I bought one and I want something better now... I'm sharing because I know im on this boat with plenty of others! nothing wrong with an axle back but you will want something more later on it took me about a year!

Also the stock exhaust is small as hell, 2.25 inch or about that. so 2.7 - 3.0 inch. Stainless is a bit pricier but you get a little bit of weight savings. Also the stock downpipe ( Y pipe) is where exhaust flow goes to die. I have RRE headers and that Y pipe looks like a plastic straw on a supersized Coke

WOAH WOAH!! Dont buy a catback!! If you want to make your moneys worth with an axle back set up a custom catback from a shop! this is where the most power lies! and wven better it would set you up for headers! I would recommend a 2.75-3" pipe welded from the y pipe beneath the headers to the magnaflow! essentially you are removing the cat and resonator for more air flow but balance it with the back pressure of your magnaflow!!

That would be awesome but I'm not planning on touching the headers soon and Idk how much it would be worth for custom pipes I'm really just looking at the injen exhaust and I gotta smog my car soon too I dont wanna remove the cay and resonator rn.
