in vrchat a dev team went the miles to recreate the first floor of Incrad, the menu, the weapons and enemy's pvp and pve included. its early in development but imma be honest its fire.

The mod idea along with the music makes me feel so nostalgic. I know SAO isn’t too good an anime but it was my first anime I ever watched, I have such a soft spot for the series.
Dude SAO was a fantastic anime I think people just like to hate trend it for some of the controversial scenes, but the animation, music, combat, etc. was PHENOMENAL

The creator of this mod had attention to detail. The devil may cry series was amazing on Ps2 back in the day. The pink P-90s causing you to fly was a sweet little omoge to Ebony & Ivory from the OG game.❤

Ever since I started watching SAO, I totally fell in love with it. The universe, the characters (especially Kirito and Eugeo) even the musics are just so good! I litterally want to buy a vr headset just to play that mod!!❤

Completely agree with the original comment. I love SAO and this video immediately caught my attention, despite having never seen your channel before. Now they just need to make it so the only way to leave the game with the mod installed is to power off the headset lmaoo

Ahhh when the soundtrack started playing during the fight my heart started tickling (the butterflies in my stomach are trying to leave) and shit this is craazy am about to cry holy shit.
also i was surprised to find out there is someone else into SAO as much as me. nevertheless, i never expected it to be Toast (this guy is insane he watched the movies and the alicization seasons. it may not seem like much but this really makes me happy since most people shit on all the seasons after the first one).
I think you can tell how much am excited about this whole thing just by reading it.
Ive never heard someone share the same feelings i do anout sword art online and the way hes talking about it gives me hope that we might get to experience a game as amazing as sword art online in the real world

If you didn’t know the Harry Potter mod for U12 uses voice control so it’s not far off that the creator of the SAO mod could either figure it out themselves or collaborate to bring voice control to the interface
Omg omg sword art online is my favorite anime and it was my first it will always have a place in my heart and it was the reason why I got into VR and gaming and now there are sword art online games and worlds like project aincrad
I never get why people hate on sao it's such a great series to watch I love it. I love sao and rewatched it COUNTLESS TIMES and this mod just makes all my dreams come true😂
There are serious issues with pacing though. It's telling when SAO Abridged can make an insanely good story by cutting out material.

They should make a mod adding the gun gale online guns and giving them to npcs so you can gun fight them and also use the laser sword kirito uses to block the shot and if you could mix it with the flip spell to make it even more cool

This is what i'm waiting for. I can't wait for the evolution of virtual and augmented reality, and for them to make vmmorpg games, super realistic with dungeons to explore, thousands of different ways to combat with magic etc... This is the type of game that I will freak out with happiness when it comes out . Can not wait!

ive always wished that magic existed irl, but with vr im cabable off casting magic though i wish it was like a level thing
I'm sure a game like this will come out in the future. Where everything is so real that you can barely distinguish it from reality. A game where all players are in the same world with almost infinite expansion, with so many combat options that we can barely imagine, such as magic. I always wanted a game where I could use TOP spells, spells that I felt powerful to use, that changed the course of a battle, something very few could use, something different. An isekai-style anime game, for example. I also always wanted there to be magic in the real world, but since there isn't, I'm dying for technology to overcome the barrier of imagination, so that we can see new realities, with greater freedom, and experience new sensations.
I'm so glad I get to see SAO get the love it deserves. It's my 2nd favorite animal of all time, and I hate how much people don't like it.

the only problem with it is that whenever you kill them and the animation happens whenever a different enemy walks into the area the previous one died, they disappear

Truly a nice mod and fun i am sure, sadly i can't test VR since i don't own a VR set.
From what i can see VR games still need a lot of work to be perfect in sync with player action, range and other stuff, but its a great step forward i can't wait for the moment when a Full dive device is launched and games are made on that level.
