Right? It already has the upshift farts. Would have been easier to add the dsg than animating the manual shifting 💀
someone start a petition to get it fixed
Swap in the 7speed and race clutch and keep the stock exhaust and it does the farts😁
Sounds more like a GTI not an R
Think a bmw m140i, new gen rs3, new a45 also need to be added

DSG farts, but shift with the stick...interesting🤔
Particularly interesting considering the 2019+ golfs came with the 7 speed dsg which doesn't fart that much.
@@fnaticb00st I added the 7 speed transmission to it to sorta get that DSG feel with it
The Golf R in the video is actually a 2019 US Spec model, not a 2021 one
Also these were only £30K brand new

The taillights are bugged on this car. Try too zoom-in the tailights in the photo mode.
Damn race exhaust on the golf r sounds so good. However, forza developers need to learn how to precisely include burbles and overrun like some of these assetto corsa mods.
Weird though they just used the r56 cooper s sound on race exhaust lol, but those sound better than those 2.0 tsi engines in real life anyway

One thing about this car has me a bit upset. VAG knowledge dump. This is the MK7.5 golf R, though all other countries got the mk8 as the 21 year model, the US got the MK7.5 still. The thing that's wrong with this update, is that the other front fascia offered for this car, including the r400, only fit the mk7. Changes in the mk7.5 headlights, fenders, and grille mount would stop either of those from fitting properly. (So glad we got a daza 2.5 swap though)
Also disappointed too that it's based on the US version. If it was the Global version, it would have those sick taillights
What about the fact we already have a mk7? Where's the mk5? I think it's just Playgrpund games pulling down everyone's pants and laughing straight to the bank. Lazy is an understatement

@@jasonandrsen The Cherry's for the R are interesting, too many small LEDs for me. The euro cherry mk7.5 GTI lights however, those are smooth.
I was not happy when I seen the picture and it was a 7.5! The new mk8 has just come out and I was hoping Horizon 5 would have it bug instead they give us a 3 year old car and call it a 2021 model 🙄. For us VAG nerds this wasn't a good move. I am happy to hear that this is the newest model in the US though, because that at least gives a reason for them doing it.
Why does America always get the lesser powered VW/Audis, I believe South Africa is the same also.

Adjust the antiroll bars in the front, just make them a bit softer.
This helps alot with the understeer 👍
Completely agree with the GTI being red and Golf R blue, can never be the other way around!
I think the GTI should be white, and the R to be sea blue, but If I got a GTI with the Ottinger kit, I would have it light blue or bright red

How did they get this car so wrong? It has 288hp stock which is less than the 2014 in the game when it should have 310hp and it’s still manual. There was practically no point adding it

The game isn’t wrong, this is a mk7.5 which is the facelift of the mk7 that they were still making until late 2021 and then bought out the mk8 a few weeks after
The colours are based on the US colour options for the Golf R. They actually got some more interesting colours than we did in the UK.

I hope they pass it to dsg internally to hear the dsg and see how the cams change. a pity that it is not the european golf r 2018 with the akrapovic and performance pack. but at least they have worked on details that would make it better to be like the European one and the taillights. in the future I hope they add the gti clubsport mk7 dsg
VW are gorgeous. I love my poor voyage. 1.6 180km/h is solid!
You also need to know, the varis front bumper is actually a racing bumper in the game so you could be losing abit of speed in that part.
Forza was a rushed fail, hardly any new cars on launch, and all the bugs and money glitches getting wheelspins galore ruined it. I find it extremely boring now

U r right about moving here for the cars. U can buy a brand new Camaro SS or a Mustang Mach 1/GT for the same price as that Golf. U could also find C7 Corvettes for that as well.
new golf is better though- and way rarer

Mk7 golf R current golf is the Mk8 R i completely agree the mk7 is better looking one of my favourite modern golfs by far! It was the last golf atm to come as a 3 door as well!

What I’ve heard people want the dsg transsmission, so I don’t get why they made it manual with the dsg sounds and no paddles.. would be much more fun with the dsg and paddles.✌🏽
Fun fact for some of you that didn’t know, VW wanted to put the 5cylinder from the tt rs and rs3 into the golf R but Audi wouldn’t let them because it would destroy sales of the Audi variants due to price point.

This game has been quite disappointing as it goes. There's still a lot to fix and there's some cars that should have been in this game still. I hope things get better in this one, coz I just went back to horizon 4 and I m enjoying that a lot.

@@yod2189 there is no R32 in the game at all there's the Golf GTI Mark 2, Golf GTI Mark 3, Golf GTI Mark 4, VW Scirocco R, VW Golf R etc but there's no Golf R32
