Went last year with my daughters. I've been going back and forth re going alone this year. Your last two videos made me realize what the hell am I waiting for. LOL Can't wait to check out the Saturday market. Booked my ticket today.
Hi Renee! Congratulations on the wedding and engagement of your daughters! Such happy times. Glad to see you protecting your skin with SPF. Please be sure to schedule an annual head to toe skin exam with your derm. I say this with care and concern; you have some visible sun damage. Sun damage is cumulative and as a result, skin cancers tend to show up later in life. A sun tan is skin damage. We want you healthy and at your best! Much love!
Better than a "tour guide." That's how we were when we were in our 20's, 30's, and 40's. We used to go to Acapulco every single year. Then we ventured and tried other places: Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Aruba, Querna Vaca, Ixtapa, to name a few. But we pretty much stopped traveling in our 60's. I don't know why. We want to get out and vacation again. Acapulco was completely leveled by Hurricane Otis last year. So that is definitely out of the picture. Our biggest obstacle is finding someone to babysit our dogs. Since they were recently adopted and are seniors, I won't kennel, and will only trust someone to stay at our home and stay with them. So there is that. Anyhow, I love watching you enjoy PV, and I love your commentaries about "all the things." Thank you so much. I feel like I'm right there with you. You do such a great job showing us the places and the foods.
Thanks so much! As for your dogs, ask around your friends...and I bet you can find someone with a granddaughter or friend of a friend who can stay at your house. That's what we do and it works out perfectly!
@@WelcomeToMyCurls You know what? I just got back from walking my dogs. I ran into one of my neighbors, and I stopped to ask her, how she always manages to end up babysitting Golden Retrievers. They are big dogs! I expressed that I'd really like to find someone willing to stay at my house so we could go on a vacation. She said she heard of a group of older ladies who like doing that - and said she'd try and get me a ph#. Can you believe it? OMG. I just couldn't believe it. LOL. Thanks!

I'll be 55 March 31, 2025 and I've been thinking of traveling to Puerto Vallarta to celebrate since I've never been there. I was born in the state but not raised there. And I want my Mexican family to join because most of them don't have passports to visite me in Georgia. Let's see what happens.

We enjoy your information on Puerto Vallarta. You love this place as much as we do. We stay in our resort Costa Sur, but not inclusive. So we do enjoy different restaurants. We ear everything at the beach. One thing we miss is not able to go to the open market. They say it go from January to May. Our time in PV is second week in June. We do better wearing sandals with straps or tennis shoes. Those streets are hard to walk on. Love your adventures.

I prefer Bucerias…..quieter and less busy. And totally agree about resorts….we never stay in them.

Oh gosh yes! If they are staying in the Romantic Zone, cobblestone streets and sidewalks are everywhere. Better be prepared with the proper footwear

Hey Renee! We were just by you at the V Conchas chinas next to Lindo Mar! And…I SAW the transformer explode!! Just got how last night after 5 beautiful weeks. Except that rain…we went to La Isla for the first time on the rainy day We LOVE PV and can not wait to go back!!

Thanks Ms. Renee - PV is one place in Mexico I haven't traveled to yet . . . . . are there any places to stay in your area that you would say a hard NO to ??? Most people I know that go are going in larger groups and stay in homes vs. resorts/condos. . . . . Thank you so much for the tour and the great advice of where to go and what to do.

Curious how the seabands worked for you on the water and did you use them for the flight, too? Have issues with motion when flying and looking for a solid solution. Trip looked fabulous!
Hi! I didn’t wear them on the plane but I DID wear them on a 2 hour boat trip. I also gave some to a family member who gets motion sickness. Neither of us got sick on the boat ride….not even a tad nauseous. It was great!

Renee you seem to always stay in the same area , do you book for the next year before you leave each year ?And with all red flags on Mexico do you feel safe ?
Hi! I always book a year in advance while I'm there. The best condos book up so quickly...as much as 2 years in advance sometimes! I have always felt safe in Mexico and have never had any issues. Love it there!
Just curious about getting sick eating especially at the market! Is that no longer a thing? We used to have to take antibiotics daily so we wouldn’t get sick
Been in Mexico City Tasco,Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta which was my favorite also, I live in Florida so I do have Beaches but not as pretty as Puerto Vallarta love the food restaurants
I think more people get sick from eating at buffets in all inclusive.
What restaurant had the Italian meal @ 4:36?
We're at Frankie's Spaghetti House....it's one of our favorite restaurants! Located at Calle Venustiano Carranza 276 in the Emiliano Zapata area of the Romantic Zone. It's an old-school Italian restaurant with the BEST food!!! I always get the eggplant parmesan and caesar salad. Randy and I often split a tiramisu for dessert too. This past vacation, we ate there 3 different times :)
