Now I know why my iphone xs max is f^&*(d up, they changed the screen and put some sort of two sided tape between the screen, not the glue with the stencil you put. Then it took water, I took it back and put twice the tape inside. A mess

There is no need to weld the old BMS at iPhone X! You can use normal new battery and it will show 100%. I did it often.
