Broker has this listed as a mega yacht. 🤷🤦😳For a 53 footer, she's got a nice, comfortable, liveable layout, perfect for the intracoastal, near shore, the Great Loop and inland waterways. With a striped first mate I could easily live on this one. Thanks for another great tour and fun interactions.

It's too tall for the loop. There is a bridge in Illinois that 19'6". The radar/electronics arch is easily 25' above the waterline.

Victoria and Rico can't be beaten when it comes to opening doors, cupboards, etc. and really exploring boats (interior and exterior) In your place Victoria, I'd be doing the same thing. You 2 are the best.

Agreed. I love that you have both (less to go wrong). BUT what if you ever had to fix it replace it? It looks impossible to remove. I hope there's something I didn't see that would allow for those possibilities/needs.
Having a washer and dryer in my walk-in closet in my bedroom is a dream.
@@georgearmstrong681 Also, top loader that low means you're kneeling to load/unload it (with potential of water on that carpet). Would probably look for another place to move the laundry setup, and change it to front loaders... maybe the storage space in the twin cabin, and just convert the rest of the cabin space to an office w/crew overflow option(s).
Imagine never needing a hamper again. Take off your days business and toss it in the washer. When it is full you simply turn it on.

You always manage to find clean well cared for yachts! In the real world boats claimed to be like new or at least properly maintained are in appealing condition with so much hidden under new flooring, instrumentation, paint or such other “upgrades” that hide the true nature of the boat. A marine surveyor with solid credentials really help to determine if the first impression proves to be a valid one. The yachts that you tour just show that the effort can be rewarding.

A boat this size. I would want a lift scheduled to indpect the hull. Those canals are not very deep.
The yard around this one is not cared for. .... slip needs attention. Is boat getting neglected a bit?

Seems so obvious now to raise the bed in the forward VIP cabin for more storage underneath, you don't stand up on a bed you lie down so you don't need all that head room. Such a cute yacht. 😊
Hawsepipe might be the word you are thinking of for the fairlead. But I think a hawespipe is usually for an anchor chain, not lines.

I love these livable tours. Like others, I really enjoy the way you are able to point out all the storage areas and all the real points of interest on the boats. It is a real treat! Ricos technical knowledge is awesome and admittedly to me a little intimidating of all that you need to know. There is always time to learn something new.

What a pleasant, clean, affordable liveaboard! The laundry fix is genious! Then you can keep the bunks for visiting friends who might have one too many cocktails and be in need of a bed overnight 😉

Great Idea. My experience has been things change pretty rapidly sometimes so I'm not sure how valid the information would be. If you are looking for a liveaboard place, it might be better to contact a yacht broker.

The engine room. Wow.. So clean. You would think it was never used until you see the obvious knee pillow in the tool rack, port side. Good on the owners there.

Very nice yacht, seems great to live on. However, somebody has to be very flexible and limber to use that washing machine. You need to get down on your knees and then reach way down below floor level to get the clothes out. Maybe after a few years of chiropractic therapy.

What a well maintained,and designed ship.The new shaft seals shows the owners also use great mechanical upgrades as needed.Although the Furuno equipment may work well,I'd ask them for modern screens adapted just for the tiny power savings versus the Cathode screens.(Plus the LEDs are full color and easier to see).I really like this ship, and the price is good.

@19:54 That is an EVA foam. It is clear (mostly) and helps in protecting the teak as well as keeping your footsies nice and cool. Good protection for you and your boat without taking away from the natural look.

@@NautiStyles It takes a bit to install it so it looks nice. It comes in all kinds of colours but can simulate that teak look without taking in a lot of heat like the natural teak deck can. It occurred to me that I said "clear." I meant to reference that it was clear that the spotted look was that it wasn't teak. The nice thing about EVA is that it does not absorb water and it has grip. You can power wash it or take a scrubber to it when cleaning. Awesome stuff.
