Is internet correct? 8k USD scrap value turned into 32.5 to 50k USD in rebar
I didn't need any rebar but I did go shopping for a pair of Arkerd workboots. Great quality!
What you dont get is: Every steel making company uses scrap metal and as few ore as possible.
Your subtitles make me happy 🙂
Thanks for watching as always! Which subtitle do u like the most today? :)
@@Factory_Monster AI evaluation of the scrap, the truck massage, and winning the soft broom. BTW, do I have to pay shipping if I win it?
@@Factory_Monster Cover the furnace with cover of the furnace...
I love how they're done correctly so I have the option of turning them off!
Me too
You have the best English subtitles of any non English channel. That slow mo shot was awesome.
The immense scale of these machines is absolutely breath taking.
Yes everything was immersive on the ground!
I ordered a bundle for each person in my family for Christmas. Everyone loves pouring concrete together for the holidays. I just got my 7 year old niece a stick welder for her birthday too.
I ordered 3 bundles for my house building !
Glad you did :) Everyone's happy now ;)
@@Factory_Monster me 10 bundles !!
Those subtitles are absolutely amazing, as always! 😁
Which one do you like the most?!! :)
@@Factory_Monster The broom contest made me laugh the most ahaha!
Hope I can win it !!
@@Factory_Monster this one: blah blah blah Korean words, lmao

I think you left out /s.
I'm sharing this video to my Uncle who owns a construction company. He needs 40 tons of rebar for a small backyard project.
Wow i'am impressed you managed to get so close the the fun stuff, maybe because you were wearing ARKERD? :0)
I think it's zooming in from far away
No zooming in but ARKERD ;)
For sure ;)
The finest in manufacturing comedy 😂😂😂
Which one did you enjoy the most?:)
@@Factory_Monster me all of them , cheers from Germany 💪
What makes me happy? Coffee, warm weather, hugs, and electric arc furnaces
Wow, this video was absolutely phenomenal! Not only did you get a lot of really incredible footage but you explained the process in a very humorous way with the subtitles. Great achievement, I’m very proud of you! So proud in fact that I bought 20 bundles of rebar, extra thick to use as garden stakes! This factory was very impressive for its automation and efficiency. It genuinely seems as if they are trying to reduce their environmental impact where possible. I cannot imagine how much this factory costs to build lots of engineering and expertise for sure. Their workwear is not cheap and it would probably cost a lot to ship to Canada.
👍👍👍

Mr Monster, your videos never fail to impress.
I look forward to the next one you produce.
Thanks for watching as always! Did u enjoy?! :)
Your channel is the best Korean channel in all of youtube for the love and passion you put into your comments. Never stop, we dont stop watching, I wont stop laughing and enjoying your humor. Also you should have dressed up in the workwear for the 30second video!!! I'm sure President. 이경백 of the company would agree. Google showed the the site and the clothes looks like something Kanye West would design to sell to rich kids. As a hard working foreigner i purchased 3 bundles of SD400 for my bunker and some ArkrerD clothing.
Daehan steel is the best steel.
I ordered three bundles plus an extra one in case I get unexpected visitors.
Everyone happy!
This was incredible! Thanks to the owners for letting you film
Your best video. Great humor, choice of words and video style made this like a dystopian sci-fi.
In a Good Way
This was soooo cool! I have ordered 20 sets of rebar for my deck build, some works are to look official and some vegetables to be healthy. Seriously amazing video and though I do actually buy rebar for real, I had never thought about how it was made. Thank you!
The idea of such heat reuse is amazing just like subtles in your videos :3
AS AN LIFETIME MECHANIC AND AN GATHERER OF SCRAP METALS, THIS IS VERY INTERESTING TO WATCH!!
SO MUCH MACHINERY AND INFRASTRUCTURE IS REQUIRED TO MAKE JUST AN SIMPLE CONCRETE STEEL REINFORCING BAR!
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST INDUSTRIAL INFORMATION VIDEOS I HAVE EVER SEEN!!😮😮😮😮
Love these videos. Behind the scenes of what makes our world go.
1:57 the “soft broom” looks like it’s made of rebar. Irony?
Truck Massage
I ordered 3 Bundles for my House and an extra 2 Bundles for my Grandma as Christmas Gift!
THANK you! I like your explanations! I've used a LOT of rebar in concrete products (pre-cast) and poured walls. Good stuff!
I work with rebar in Australia. From house foundations to 17 story buildings. I love my job and am glad to see how the steel I move around and put into place is created. I must have missed the part showing how the steel gets ribs. I might have to give it another watch 😅. From Australia great video 💪🏻
Emjoying the subtitles. Thanks for doing them.
Excellent work: A work of excellency
Had many good giggles out of this. Beautiful video. And what was that " I know none of you would purchase rebar" ? I have, multiple times!
I use it all the time in my work.
Impressive factory and processing. S.Korea often amazes me in the workings.
Good.thank you.from Indonesia
This is absolutely my favorite brand of rebar!
Great video - thanks. Yes, i wondered what those electrodes were made of - Graphite perhaps.
I expect you had fun walking on high cat walks to get some of those shots.
Usually carbon or graphite
Had fun there!
@pyromaniac354 People like you who have knowledge are always welcome here!
Thanks for your video!
Thanks a lot! Did you enjoy it?
@@Factory_Monster As always. It is nice soothing, learn something, no music, nice relaxing, keep up the good work!
The big electromagnet is usually a big copper armature that creates a magnetic field when switched on and not when off.😊
Thanks for sharing ur knowledge with the world!
I ordered 2 bundles of steel rebar, high temperature coat and 2 kilos of tomatoes!!!
You've order the whole set menu of the factory :)
Win this broom, hilarious. The more i watch this the more i love these subtitles. Great job!
Faszinierend!
16:39 "Stills are steel hot" Nice word play! Very creative, especially for a non-native English speaker!
From scrap metal to rebar. From waste heat to food. Good all around. 👍🏼👍🏼
Damni love those Electric Arc Furnaces, they sound so scary.
I´m thinking about ordering some rebar ;)
For sure! The best gift for your loved ones;)
Their line of clothing would be very useful when I am welding or blacksmithing. I have used salvaged leftover construction cutoffs of rebar for making lantern holders and other decorative projects. I think the idea of using the waste heat to grow food a fantastic idea! Thank you for the informative video on their product. I never realized they had such good quality control in making consistent alloys for the rebar.
Next time I need rebar, I'll be sure to order a bundle or 3 from them!
And some tomatoes - they look delicious.
But I'd really like some of those shirts! :D
Glad you like all the things I've shown you ;)
I worked with much of this in my days of construction
Hope you enjoyed the whole process in my video!
@@Factory_Monster I enjoy all your videos from North, I mean South Korea. I hope it makes you a fortune!
19:15 Attention Daehan Steel marketing manager: I ordered 3 bundles of rebar to use for garden stakes, all because this CZcams channel told me to make you happy. Honestly. I do not pretend. I have a big garden.
Industrial Comedy with Educational Outcomes is the best way forward 😂
@18:44 did you happen to ask why the arms go in sequence to flip the bars over? Seems like it just jumbled them up for no reason (though I'm sure there is one!).
Ive used approximately 1.5 million pieces of rebar since i was 16 years oldand worked on a road construction and paving company and in hotel building too im not 44 years old used the 3/4, the7/8, 1 & even 2 “ rebar for jobs awesome video thanks

Very good video. I think you would be surprised how many of your viewers purchase construction materials, including rebar.
Great video, very interesting, and I love your funny comments. 😂
Wow, the whole furnace tilts! Amazing
your sense of humour is very good, from an Englishman
A few things stand out to me:
1. The rolling mill uses a square-diamond-square shape sequence during reduction. I've heard of it but never seen it - most mills seem to use the round-oval-round sequence.
2. The practice of roughing down a whole billet at a time and then passing two of them at once through the finishing mill. Again, more modern mills will reduce one billet in the roughing and intermediate mills, then form the bar into a peanut shape and slit the bar into two, or three or four bars.
3. The thing shown at 15:00 is called a looper, it's for tension management in the mill. Steel being rolled tends to behave like a big rubber band and the looper allows this tension to be managed. Our loopers have position sensors mounted above them that tell the mill computers how big the loop is and the speeds of the rolling stands are then adjusted automatically to keep the loop height realtively constant.
I ordered 6 bundles for my shop build!
we need this process back in the U>S>
UMA COISA É CERTA, O CARA QUE FEZ ESSA FABRICA É UM GÊNIO....
I am happy when you are happy. 😃
Can you get us a break on a few tons of rebar?
Thank you for the video.
My brother, you are a superhero. How were you able to film in this scary factory? Thank you for this wonderful video
I can pretty safely promise that I will only ever purchase Daehan Steel rebar for my large construction projects. And next time I return to Seoul, I'll try to buy some tomatoes too :)
Every step for recycling resources is cheerful.
Your video makes me happy!
Just ordered 16 bundles of rebar for my home made shark hook manufacturing. Also ordered my winter outfit so i can sit by the fire while i make tomato soup :)
Wow!perfect human innovation and artificial intelligence!
This video makes me happy. I love to watch how things are made, especially steel. As much as I love the process, the machinery that is needed to make the steel is amazing. How do those huge vats of molten steel withstand the beating it takes from the massive electrodes as they melt that old steel? So Hot, So Coo!
You have to admire those who can devise the machine in the first place , to create a simple but important product that forms the bedrock of modern construction and at the same time making use of scrap materials. And when the time comes it can all be recycled, which is more than you can say for wind turbines or solar panels . 😊
I've decided to buy some bundles of rebars in hoping to get free tomatoes as a bonus
Buy tomatoes than you'll get free rebars
Your subtitles always cracks me up 😂. The suffering parts are always the best. I can really imagine the trucks with a sad face, when they are suffering bein clawed 🤣. Keep it up man! Even though the videos itself are very interesting, your humor really makes a difference on your videos. Cheers from Brasil
Video and subtitles were great! Very informative and entertaining. I wish more businesses in the U.S. were this efficient and high quality. I'm getting this rebar for my next build project no question!
I was so impressed with your sub titles sence of humour i have subscribed,❤ keep up the good work 👏, respect from the UK 🇬🇧
Me encantó el producto volveré a comprar mas ;)
I actually buy rebar, not sponsored by anyone. You're a funny guy, nice video.
Yeah, humor is back!
Awesome! And love the humor in the subtitles. I also ordered 4 bundles for my house build!
Thanks for watching:)
No music and subs are closed captioned?? Is it my birthday or something?? THANK YOU!!
I wish all videos were like this one.
The amazing productivity of ALL ASAINS IS INCREDIBLE! The precision quality and minimal waste. We still haven’t figured it out! China built a 102 mile bridge over the ocean in 4 years! 😮. They work 24/ 7 on all major jobs. We couldn’t build a 5 mile bridge in 15 years! “WEAK”!
And these factories are all over Korea, big and small. One of our students just got hired by Posco in Incheon. I cannot imagine how big their factory is!
What a very well made documentary, and a stunning factory ❤️🙏👍🇬🇧
Very well done. Thanks. Jim Bell (Australia)
