2:42 That's pretty accurate. I think that in the comics, he mentioned that if he didn't crack jokes during fights he would start to panic. He didn't learn martial arts until Shang Chi taught him, and that was because he lost his Spider Sense at the time.
That could be a cool opportunity in a future movie wouldnât it.

Most heroes in marvel have at least some respect towards him. I like to think that it is because he keeps defending the little guy even after making it big like " yhea we can leave new york and go to space we leave it in good hands" but that is just my head cannon

@@therookie5714 Well yes and no in comic land winning really depends on the plot at the moment. But you do raise a good point spidy has a lot of things that give him an edge I do have to say that on pure martial skill widow probably has him beat due to her experience and training. He probably has most of the smal time heroes and some of the major onse beat I do think that the heavy hitters will do him in like Hulk.

See that's a thing with Spider Man that I feel sometimes gets misunderstood. He jokes during fights to deal with the sense of panic he feels. Peter never got training that made his emotions and sense of fear nonexistent. He got the powers and dawned the suit having only whatever he knew and taught himself. And to his benefit, when he starts to annoy his opponents, they might start to slip up and give him an opening he can use.
Sometimes the bravest person is the most afraid. He who cracks a smile in the face of danger isn't fearless, he's afraid. There's always something to loose and something to loath.
I also overall just love the interactions between these to.

Martial artists don't eradicate their emotions or fear, they just learn to control them. But overall, you are right.
Funny, Steve Ditko Spider-Man seemed to use humor in a more arrogant and biting way
I agree that Spider-Manâs quips and wisecracks are a coping mechanism for the challenges he faces, but Iâd like to add being able to sense danger before it happens also contributes to Peterâs cockiness

I'd be surprised if the Avengers game continues its own lore, NOT THE GAME, its story with its characters. I really enjoy watching Spider-Man interact with the Avengers, despite it not being the Insomniac version.
An Animated Series based on this versions of the characters would be dope.

In the comics, Natasha was temporarily trapped in a cover identity she had created (Nancy Rushman, a schoolteacher). She was tortured so painfully by Viper (a.k.a. Madame Hydra) that her mind sought refuge by making her forget she wasn't actually an American schoolteacher. "Nancy" was rescued by Spider-Man, and they began to fall in love. After her memory was restored, she pretended that she didn't recall any of her time as Nancy. She actually did remember all of it, but was afraid if Spider-Man knew that, and she kept seeing him, she'd be tempted to stay with him -- which would make him a target for all the enemies she's made over her career as a secret agent.
I think Spider Man's voice actor here could do a good Deadpool.

"training is non existent"
I mean yeah, it's kinda hard to train someone who can punch so hard he would knock most people's head clean off their spine. His body and spider-sense together know how to respond to most situations and what he is capable of, there is no way someone could train him better than himself. At best he could learn some grappling techniques to help in hand to hand, but for the most part his insane agility, webs and strength make it a non-issue.
Exactly! Waiting for this comment here. Marvel tends to not understand that spider man is literally a miniature juggernaut and could easily demolish half the avengers main squad with shear strength alone
He HAS gotten training tho from shang chi for when he's facing off against someone whose's stronger or JUST AS strong as he is with spider sense as well. That was the whole point of his Shang Chi combat training when his spider sense went off.

However, Laura Bailey is also known for being part of the Critical Role party, voicing Chun-Li in games since 2008, voicing a few Persona characters, Jaina Proudmore from WoW, Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and her debut role when she was 18: Kid Trunks, from the Funimation Dub of Dragon Ball Z. Yep, Black Widow and Kid Trunks are voiced by the same adult voice actress.

I kinda like the interactions the avengers have in this universe it actually feels like they know and genuinely respect and care for each other. Sure the movies mostly did the same but this still feels different
I always felt like the interactions were awkward, almost like the voice acting was incomplete or a lot of audio was deleted and all that was left was 1/4 of the lines recorded.
I could honestly see Natasha and Peter as a couple if he was older. The dynamic spider duo. Her seriousness + his humor

Kinda disappointed that Square Enix didn't bring in Yuri Lowenthall to voice Spider-Man in this game.
Honestly, I can see a Spider-Man story where MJ is actually a young, undercover Black Widow sent to observe Spidey when he starts his hero career

Even though this game fails in a lot of ways, one of the ways it passes are with character interactions. In cutscenes and in little things like this
This game still had a way to go let's see what the next character brings.
You're right , this game has great level design, character interactions, animations but unfortunately it also has a terrible gameplay. game had so much potential they ruined it.

2:29 I'm not sure how old is Spidey supposed to be in this game, but I'll assume he's 21/22 (though his voice makes me think he's 17 but that's not the point) so he's been Spidey for 6 or 7 years. There is NO WAY he didn't develop his own fighting technics by now.

Nah this is just how Spider-Man is, he is sociable and funny, and has a dynamic similar to this with pretty much every other hero around him.

This version of Spider-Man has been going solo against AIM and street-level crime for a few years. It wouldn't be surprising if Peter was really lonely and (combined with meeting the famous Avengers) eager to find a friend.

People give this Spider-Man crap, but even tho traversal May be clunky and you need to max out Spider-Man to truly fight at his full potential, I feel like they got the character down perfectly. Heâs young and goofy, yet knows when to be mature and serious. He has problems trusting people and keeping his identity a secret, even from people like the Avengers, is such a Spider-Man/Peter Parker thing to do. It took Peter YEARS before he started to let other heroes in and realized he doesnât need to do the whole hero thing alone
I personally donât like Spider-Man being portrayed as goofy. I like him to have meme moments and everything, but I donât like the high pitched voice and him being talked down to by other heroes. He shouldnât be looking up to captain America for instance, he would destroy captain America in a fight

You need to level everyone up in this game to see their full potential. Makes you work to unlock the character. Heâs fun as hell to play as though

Yeah it's just a shame that I can't bring myself to play this boring game anymore. I played through the campaign and have zero interest in playing it again. Plus if I want to play good Spiderman I'll just play Spiderman because it's always a delight.

They couldnât give her like 2 different idle animations per scene? Sheâs just on the wall like sheâs tweaking for a solid minute of this video. They could at least have her get up and maybe switch the angle of the pose.
