- No better way to beat the summer heat than to do a little bit of wading and fishing in a nice cool creek! I tried my hand at BFS fishing for the first time with the Seasir Repeater BFS reel and an ultralight rod. We targeted Warrior bass & Alabama bass with ned rigged Nikko Hellgrammites and Berkley Maxscent Lil Troopers and Micro spinnerbaits! #fishing #creekfishing #bfsfishing

A few things... Great work out there James! Felt bottom are awesome! That's an awesome little BFS setup. I throw a bait caster with left handed reel... this is the way. Excellent outing boys! 👍

I can now appreciate how cool it is to pull them fish out of such shallow, clear waters. I’m still not ready to invest in the bfs craze, but cool of them to send you that reel to play with.

I live down here in south alabama I have recently been fishing a few creeks. I enjoy watching the different bass being caught. Seems you guys have species we don't.
Alabama has some incredible biodiversity! Many of it's drainages harbor unique species, with bass alone you've got the Coosa, Tallapoosa, Cahaba & Warrior bass, each endemic to their namesake river drainage! Not sure if you've heard of it before, but you actually have one unique to your area as well, the Choctaw bass! Creek fishing can take hold of you, good luck out there!
