Footballer Dani Alves Sentenced To 4.5 Years In Jail For Rape

Former Brazil Football Star Dani Alves was sentenced to 4-and-a-half years in jail after being found guilty of rape for attack in a Spanish nightclub bathroom. The 40-year-old father-of-two is now facing his first night behind bars as a convicted sex offender. Alves had denied raping the young woman at the nightclub as he took the stand on the last day of his trial in Spain. Prosecutors had called for a nine-year prison sentence followed by 10 years of probation, and also wanted him to pay 150,000 euros ($162,000) in compensation. Watch the video for more details.
