  • There’s a new twin cylinder trend in middle weight naked class. For 2023 Honda and Suzuki came up with two new models that are pretty close one to another. Therefore, we put them to the test that had one goal, to find out which one is the best.

Having ridden these bikes back to back I’m amazed at the media bias towards the Suzuki. The Hornet is much more of a fun motorcycle with way more usable power which brings a real grin to your face. It’s better handling more comfy a lot cheaper easier to ride slowly. Quick shifter option is way better than the Suzuki’s. Has phone connectivity. The Suzuki May have a little more low down torque but nothing worth mentioning compared to the Hornet.

Cheaper doesn't mean better, most would agree the hornet feels slightly cheap, and the Suzuki is constantly praised for quality ride and more midrange punch.

Gracias por el video y sus ideas! I have been thinking about the GXS-8S for few weeks now. I sold my HD Electra Glide Standard and I'm looking a great commuter. My motorcycle career began with a Suzi and I feel like it time to return to Suzuki after 43 years.
You have shown both bikes in good favor. The video was informative and had honest opinions, that are reliable to be accepted by tubers looking at these bikes as the ride on which venture forth. I'm going to grab an 8S soon. Thanks amigos

I wanted the yamaha mt07, but apparently yamaha doesn't want to sell them, so I got tired of waiting and I bought the gsx8s yesterday after I got off work and I gotta say I didn't go wrong. That bich IS bad, comfortable, the display is awesome, it handles like a dream, and it's the all blacked out version. It's like suzuki made it just for me. That being said, I'm 230 pounds, I have a 36 inch inseam, I'm 6ft 6in tall, and ware a size 15 shoe. My legs are in a very comfortable position and shifting gears feels natural in the position my foot stays in. The bike didn't have 1 full mile on it when I got it off the show room floor. The only thing I'm worried about is that it's obviously a 2023 model so it's the first year of this bike, so nobody knows the short term issues that will go wrong with it if it has any. The yamaha seems like the rear wheel needs to be on a 2 inch longer swing arm, the suzuki has a longer wheel base than the Honda hornet and mt07. Honestly I want all 3 but I gotta stay in reality since I'm not a millionaire 😂. Iv always ben a honda and yamaha man, iv always liked kawasaki too. This is my first suzuki iv ever owned, I'm trusting in their reputation for this one. I hope it's a good long lasting bike because I really do like this gsx8s.

I rode both in the last week and I loved the Honda, not the looks but a bike were everything works well together, I didn't feel that with the suzuki, fabulous engine but thought the suspension was stiffer for my weight 65kg, i felt it had less feedback in the bends, I didn't feel any love for it where the Honda I wanted one straight away, it's coming next week😊

If the ergonomics are similar to the GSX-S1000, I'd say the wind isn't a problem. You are leaned forward enough to make it a strain-free experience. One thing I prefer is the clean air stream around the helmet for much less noise. Windshield typically create a LOT of noise which really wears over time.

The 12 kg heavier slower Suzuki wins on looks. It is a bigger bike physically. However the Hornet’s performance, fun and agility and handling wins the overall title. riding back to back, the Suzuki feels like more grown up, predictable, planted and stable. The Hornet is the Hooligan kid that will wheelie dart around and want to have fun. I guess it depends on your riding choices as they have vastly different characteristics. The Hornet engine is the star though as it has plenty of character

Soon as the central banks stop stealing all the goods and services out of every Nation they loan currency to, then manufacturers can get back to injecting cash back into the development system. Soon as the regulations get junked where they belong, then manufacturers can create more interesting things, take more risks, not spend heaps of money on tree hugging, fake carbon issues, and fake greenhouse vapors.
