I prolly "played" this for the first time with my big brother when I was like 3, it has been a steadfast companion since for both me and my brother.
Growing up, slowly getting better at it, from always getting numemon, to unhappy digimon dying early and never having a ultimate. to happy digis but still no ultimate.
To random ultimate, to always getting what I want to finally beating the game.
it was a companion from start til in my middle 20s.
And even now, I sometimes go back to replay it. It started my twitch channel and is what got me the following to get Affiliate on twitch.
Me and my brother still sit next to each other and play this at the same time, or watch each other play this.
I love this game and it will always be a special game to me.

one of my friends back in the day "borrowed" my copy of digimon world back in elementary school. I got it back something like 12 years later when I finally saw my friend again. This guy totally respected how precious this game is, because the disc was still MINT. An absolutely timeless game

That's why I love this game so much, you go on an adventure and when you comeback you don't know how the city it's going to be. By the end of the game you can just watch all the work you and the digimon you recruited put up together

@@SadGatomon PS4 is really good they managed to catch that vibe and remake it in a more modern system, but the low res texture and overall design of the first one always gets me nostalgic, so I'd say I still prefer the 1 over the PS4 one but only by a small margin
