I was issued a Camilus in the Coast Guard, but it somehow got away. I currently own some Rough Riders and a few other brands for sentimental reasons. The marlin spike was also used to splice line. Nice knves you have there.
Hey brother Pete, those are some really cool knives!! Never had one before, but now I am thinking that I might just need to get one 👍 Thanks for sharing brother 🙏
Dang it Pete. You are making me want to get a Marlin Spike haha. These are pretty cool. I appreciate the explanation on them. That burlap one is huge. I think that's the one that Big Red said the liners glow in the dark. Very cool stuff brother!! Hope you are doing great buddy!
Those are nice ones Pete!’ They are big and made to do some serious work. I’ve only had one in my day and I let someone talk me out of it. Never again!!
Marlin spikes are very cool knives. I have 2 of the smaller ones that you showed. I use them for paracord and cordage associated with hanging a hammock. The other use is with the flat bed trailer, it is handy to get knots out after tying stuff down. They are for specific purposes and I would not EDC one or take one on a camping trip. It's easy to carve one out of a piece of hard wood. I would most defiantly carry one for boating or at least leave one on the boat permanently.
Yeah Ken I knew you would have things to do with these……. I thought it would be something different to show…….. it would make a crazy ice pick I keep thinking of things you can use it for thanks so much Ken stay well buddy and I’ll catch you soon 😊
Yeah John I thought I’d do and show something different….. they are pretty cool pieces…… thanks John I hope things are ok stay well buddy I’ll catch you soon 😊
