- In this video, we will install the best free Elementor contact form plugin. The name of the free plugin is Metform. so this video is all about MetForm plugin tutorial. If you are using Elementor pro plugin, then you will get the option to create contact form using Elementor pro plugin. However if you do not have Elementor pro plugin then you can install this free contact form plugin for Elementor website and create your own form.
The contact form will be fully customizable as you will be using Elementor page builder to design the layout of the form. MetForm plugin for Elementor I have a problem with forms because the e-mail from this form comes to the e-mail address I enter from the form, no matter what e-mail address I enter, the message does not reach me, only to the e-mail address entered in the form. Does anyone of you know how to solve this?
try adding free smtp plugin to the wordpress website. see if that works.
@@ParamFreelance I have an smtp plugin with a tick icon, I don't have to check exactly what it's called because without this plugin a message popped up that there was no smtp, so I downloaded the plugin and configured it, I could send it, but when I enter an email in the email contact form on the website, the email arrives at the email address I entered in form, and not to the email address I set. it must be the MetForm plugin because it has the function I need
I dont get any emails in my inbox/spam folder when submitting the form, I put the email I want it sent to in the notifications tab
check the spam folder in your email account. also check the mail server on your hosting.
the entries are only saved in the wordpress dashboard whenever someone submitted a form entry. im not receiving emails from the form to the admin email or to notification email addresses i've set up... this would be a waste of time if the plugin only save entries but does not send emails of the entries a customer fills in the form.
Metform is supposed to send entries to the email address too. Check the spam folder in your email account for entries.

Its good but the free version lacks "step forms"
still better than other plugins as you can customize the layout of forms using Elementor which is not possible in other.
@@ParamFreelance i just use css, but it's true, the customization Is what any elementor user needs

Does anyone know how to prevent the notification emails go into my spamfolder when someone submits a form?
go to spam folder in your email account and mark the email as Not spam. Next time it will not be marked as spam. which email account do you have? is it gmail?
@@ParamFreelance Thanks for the quick reply! I did this but the problem is that not only my account should receive notifications. I wonder if there's any other solution than to whitelist it on 120 different outlook 365 accounts..

this is email contact form. When submitted, it will go to email account.
I am using MetForm with Elementor, both free versions. I set up the form, everything works fine, but after I tested and submitted the form, I don't see anything in the Entries section under MetForm, no form shows at the form section neither, although the form does work. Basically I can't do anything at the MetForm dashboard. And I don't receive any email, neither as the admin nor as the form sender. Does the free version have those functions? Please help! Thanks!
free form has the function to send email to admin. Check the smtp settings on hosting server and make sure that email servers are working.

Prefix country code dropdown is feature of Pro version.

make sure that email server is working on your hosting. Try sending simple email to your official email address.

Do you see any error message? Which theme are you using? Make sure all the plugins are up to date. MetForm plugin works good. I have it installed on many elementor website without any issue.
