Miku is always so outstanding and amazing to me. Can you imagine having her energy and vision to make this all come true? all while feeling that she herself was not talented enough to pull off being the front and voice of the band? she's grown so much since I first discovered them and clearly over the past 9+ years her dedication to making her dream come true and bringing the rest of the band along with her. they support each other and all have grown on many facets. This band is the embodiment of what it's all about IMO. Miku will always be my favorite for so many reasons, even though I love every one of them so much. Can you imagine traveling halfway around the world. Playing an old song before an audience that doesn't speak your language. And getting that kind of reaction? Band-Maid is universal.
Miku is one of the most amazing people in the entertainment field. She has all the attributes of a star, but has no ego at all, and just has that ability to get people to love her and the band. It's a joy to watch and listen. I have never seen a group have such a personal connection to their fans and value their opinions and thoughts. It's very special. I cannot think of any other group since I've been following music for the last 55+ years, that would use a break in the show to led the fans in cheers, have Omajinai Time, Saiki's Japanese Lesson, Misa's beer chugging opening ritual and Akane's banana peel fetish, lol. There is just nothing like it anywhere else in the world. All of this is in addition to them being the top hard rock group on the planet and amazing musicians and vocalists. All rock fans owe Band Maid a big debt of gratitude for almost personally bringing great rock back to life.
