You are definitely not a failure. 🤗 You’ve got 10K subscribers, you became more fluent in Korean and you completed your MBA! You’re doing amazing and you read my mind as I was thinking how you could move back to HK to get a job there, with your previous work experience there and familiarity, I think it would be great! Your channel is such a breath of fresh air, and that’s because you’re being authentic. 👏🏼👏🏼 Best wishes on your next adventure!🇨🇦😀
Hello! Silent follower of yours since your HK days. You are not a failure - and for a fact that you are such a courageous soul, leaving home and living in two very different and competitive countries! I don’t think I will be able to do that myself. Keep pushing and you’ll get where you wanna be. 화이팅! 👊🏻
ahh hellooo nice to finally e-meet you, and thanks for writing this to me!! :') hahaha honestly i feel like i always underestimate myself >< thank you again, i hope you're doing well :) you too 화이팅!!
My Notes: 1)Your MBA program is done!!! 🎉🎆 2)I agree with you 1 yr in Korea is not enough but you really did try hard to make the most of your stay there. 3)I think if you want to work in Korea (outside of being an english teacher) the top qualification one needs is fluency in the Korean language regardless of their skills. If your boss and coworkers can't communicate with you effectively then success can't happen 🙁 Its hard even for Koreans to get a job right now so its very competitive.😥 4)I know all too well the sting of a job rejection but the most important thing is to keep moving forward. If working in Korea is really what you want then it can happen. You just have to be patient and be prepared for the opportunity when it comes around. Even if you are working at a job in a different country. You may even find your dream job outside of Korea. 5)I am just one of 10K people rooting for you! 힘💪!!! EDIT: I legit thought the girl in that couple sitting by the window @16:30 was you. I was like "ooooooo, is she on a date?!?!" lololol
i totally agree on the job thing - fully realized how a local language is so important for office communication (even in HK too, but i guess i was just lucky enough to work in international companies). are you by any chance from or living in Korea? :D thank you for the encouragement - it's very comforting. :') and NOOO lol if i were on a date i'd be making the vlog all about that date hahahaha
Congratulations Sheren Really i love your videos and perspective. Sometimes, i am watching your videos when i feel very sad. It’s been a joy to see your seoul days and i am waiting for others, of course. ❤
Like the subtitle "Seoul Searching". If you feel you have progressed then it's the most important thing. Language barrier is a problem, but keep trying. Going back to H.K. is a good option and language not an issue. Glad you graduated and now getting a job. Yes Seoul is hot in the summer. Good luck. Do continue with vlogs.
Congratulations😹 on the 10k subscribers, keep up the fireee gurl😎. I'm happy to be with you up here, I'll stick you up to 100k, 500k, 1M and so on 😘😘. Ditunggu selalu video selanjutnya❣

how much time does one of these take you? quality is getting pretty good
i think this was a bit of a stupid question since you cant really quantify time recording snippets of irl things
wah thankyou!!! actually yeah i dont know exactly how long but this took almost 1 week - recorded several different days but then i had nothing much to do so i could do some editings in between (hence, faster process) :))
Im 13 in 15 days and i already want to go SNU
