Cool video! I’m in the market for another computer but there’s so much to consider. Decades ago I used to get Mac towers but to get the Mac Pro fully decked out one now retails for about $55,000!

Thanks for a proper rand thorough review. I got the same specced Air yesterday and I'm planning to use it for Premiere and After Effects editing for client work from time to time when traveling. I have a pretty powerful desktop PC and the idea is to use the PC for the majority of my work but to copy projects over to the Air so that I would be able get some work done when going away for a weekend or finishing and doing final touches on the go. Would you consider doing a Premiere Pro review as well? I will do my own testing as well but waiting for a docking station which I ordered so I can copy stuff across and use an extra screen.

Finally an actual editing experience and not a sales pitch. I’m beginning to get into 4k music videos (I have some on my page). Currently I would say I’m not doing any extreme edits but I would like a computer I could grow into. I wouldn’t want to waste money and I shoot with an eos r. Do you think I could get away with using an air or should I go into a pro chip?

Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed it. Honestly I’ve not used the pro chip and I’m trying to avoid trying it as I know it will cost me money 🤣 the MacBook Air was astonishing though, in some respects blowing my very expensive computer out of the water. This hooked up to a big monitor “should” be all you would need for a good few years I would think.
