Soldier isn't easy. He's just VERY SIMPLE. If you don't have PERFECT aim a tickle of healing completely nullifies EVERYTHING you do.

Love your vids Arrge, and your advice totally works on every hero. For my case I copy how u slide on roofs to surprise people but with echo. i fly high in the air, waste time out of sight of the enemy to get my flight back, land on top of a squishy, assasinate and dip out. Works like a charm

My favorite thing to do when I die to a doo doo soldier player is... Swap to soldier and diff tf outta them. Preferably without a pocket, if they have one. Then type "ez76" after you roll them :)

I was hardstuck diamond 4 for years playing mainly Hanzo and Genji. I decided to 1trick soldier and i climbed to Masters 4 with about a 75% winrate. Hitscan is just straight up better than projectile, and its sad that Blizzard doesnt know how to balance that.
Hitscan is honestly so easy when ur used to having to predict ur targets movements

To prove something play 10 games in row and compare win ratio on soldier and hanzo, it will be much more interesting. And yes, it should be games on same rank.
Prove what? You can look up all advanced stats for characters online. Soldier is by far the most common dps in top 500 and with an extremely high sample size still holds a great win rate.
Hanzo is one the lowest performing characters in overwatch statistaclly, at every level of play.

Solider is definitely a much easier hero to pick up than hanzo. When I first started OW I only played solider and mcree cuz they're the most classic FPS shooters (besides widow). He's much better if your aim ain't on point, like if you don't hit your first few shots you got a whole clip to kill the enemy still, vs. Hanzo you miss your first 2 shots the fight starts looking scary
Unless you play moira, mei, symm, torb or genji having consistently good aim and tracking is VERY difficult

It's a lot harder to headshot with visor since the on screen effects are so distracting 😎 (you can headshot during visor these days if you actually aim at the head)

He is the quintessential easiest character in the game. Not even close.

does practicing projectile makes you improve on hitscan?
In a way yes. Even projectile mains will improve their aim because projectile heroes especially hanzo have to predict where they'd go and aim exactly there to get kills. It's just that they don't aim where the character is but rather aim where the character would be by the time the projectile gets there.
