this is great, thank you! I'm always so confused when owners ask for a "round face but keep the topknot". am i supposed to do the top knot first then trim the rest of the face? and how do I trim it without interfering with the hair in the elastic? also how does the elastic not fall off, does it depend on the elastic? I don't have my own elastics (guess I should) so I usually try to do it with the one the dog comes with but it's kinda shitty and falls apart, ugh it's always a mess lol.

Cute! I am relatively new at grooming my dog (yorkiepoo). I have started cutting her myself because she has really bad anxiety when touched by groomers. Let's just say she has had more than her fair share of negative experiences! My question to you is how to you help stressed out, fearful dogs relax?

Hello!! I've been watching your grooming videos for a while and I've groomed my dog three times now with great results! My dog is a service dog and I would like to shave him, but when I tried I barely got any of his coat off. Louie is a mini Australian Labradoodle and I've never seen a dog with a thicker coat!! He gets hot pretty easily because of how dense his hair is and since he's a working dog that's not good. I've been using Wahl clippers that I got for christmas, but the kind for humans instead of dogs so I know that's the problem! I now have the money to invest in good clippers so I want to do so! What clippers and blades would you recommend for a super dense coat?

I think it is a gender thing at least for me....I either get it too far right, too far left, or falling in her face. Plus trying to keep Lola from moving around is another issue...
