Not even 1/2 way reading through the owners manual I found that the power button for the radio/screen is also a mute button. One quick press if you need to Mutes the radio. Press and hold turns the screen off, !
SLT? Man I love those wheels, this color, that grille, the interior and the updated headlights is probably my favorite change as well. GMC did a great job! 🔥
I’m biased. But, my first truck was a 1997 GMC Sierra sle extended cab. This new refresh will definitely be my next truck. And my favorite color is blue so I love it
my first truck was a 95 gmc sierra slt extended cab z71 loved that truck. im def gonna get this same truck but with the diesel option

You guys have the Dynamic Blue. That's the color I wanted on my SLT, but it's not available. I ordered my SLT in Cayenne Red
I like both blues but ordered AT4 so dynamic it is.

For the life of me I don’t understand why they put the steering wheel volume on the right hand side. Put it on the other side. PLEASE
The blue is okay but the cayenne red is what I ordered. With a fresh coat of wax? 🤤 I plan on deleting the chrome and blacking it out to match the glossy black wheels I got.

I don't like the new fog lights on the refresh as compared to the prior refresh fog lights.
Seems like the main things that changed were the front of the truck and the front cab. Rear cab and backward doesn't look to be changed.
No 4L on that truck? Is that because it is not a X31?
I got the same blue on my x31 sle and the same rims all from the dealership
Just my $0.02 but the directional spoke wheels were a massive misstep by GMC. The rest of the refresh is incredible and, cosmetically speaking, I love that the SLT boasts so much chrome. Especially since the AT4/Elevation have the black-out market satisfied with ranging price points. Taking order of my X31 SLT soon…will be swapping out the 20’s with previous generation wheels. Great review as always!

Like the color, just tired of the chrome. I think I like the interior of the AT4 and Denali better, mainly due to they way the vents are placed in the dash compared to the lower trims.
Mine will be here shortly and I am taking the wheels off my 2021 Denali and putting them on this truck. Ugly wheels IMO. Love these trucks. Have owned 3 with the 3.0 Dsl and moving into another

Does the SLT have an option for HUD and Rearview camera Mirror?
If not which trims would be recommended for that?
I tried to get the HUD on my SLT build but it is currently only available on AT4 and Denali trims.
I had no idea about the rear view camera mirror so I can't say anything about that, sorry

um ya, i want those wheels sooo bad. I plan to order a regular cab and build it up with mush options as possible then get these wheels somehow. i want those wheels on my project regular cab, 4x4.

Chip shortage strikes again! No vented/heated front seats, heated rear seats, or heated steering wheel on a $62k truck. Are the hardware components there (seats with heater elements and vent fans and steering wheel with heater elements), but just missing the chip to make them operate? For a measly $50 credit, I’m thinking so. So the “later retrofit” is simply plugging in a missing control board?
Yes, that is exactly the plan. I was told though that for the heated steering wheel, they're just going to swap out the entire wheel....which is cool by me!
I like the Color of this GMC Sierra but what I Don't like about the New GMC Sierra is the Grill and the Headlights. IMHO , to Me it looks like and reminds me of the New Ford Series of pickup trucks , Especially the Super Duty. I would rather have the New Silverado !
