I’m currently working on a solo post punk project playing all the instruments myself (guitar / bass / keys / drums ) with the bass as the lead. Music is coming along great minus one issue my voice is high pitched so it sounds like joy division with blink 182 singing lead :(
Listen to Traitrs or even AFIs most recent album for some inspiration on a higher vocal over post punk/ synth based stuff, Also Heavens , it was a post punk /indie project that Matt from Alkaline Trio had. Work with what you have and create something unique, I’m sure what ever you create will sound interesting!
