Bryan Stevenson is one of the most remarkable people I know of. He is a tremendous blessing-brilliant and productive. A model for black men everywhere.

"A model for black men everywhere"... Your statement suggests that black men need a model. I'm curious... If Stevenson was white, would you have written "A model for white men everywhere"? No! I don't believe you would.

@@dorian07109 Absolutely. I think it’s clear to many of us paying close attention that more models are needed. More mentorship…more fathering. The glaring achievement gap between black men and other groups is in large part due to improper and insufficient mentorship, in my opinion. I hope we can all hold up men like Bryan Stevenson as models of Black masculinity. The man and boys in my household certainly admire him as such.

@@naturalhealermom First of all, black men are NOT doing as bad as the media and western society portrays. 51% of black men have no dependents and are considered “middle class”. What I am telling you (since you don’t know most black men), stop believing what you are told about black men. Instead look up some statistics about black men. We have our SHIT together much more than society gives us credit for. Furthermore, why does the media and western society degrade black men? It is because white men feel inferior in the presence of a confident black man. It is also to have black women view black men as pathetic, lacking, etc… which would keep black men and black women separate thereby destroying the black family. Yes! It’s more than a conspiracy! It’s real!

My sister and I traveled to Alabama yesterday to spend time at the Legacy Museum and it was soul opening! The Legacy Museum is “The Total Experience” of America and the sum total of America’s thoughts. The beautiful minds that put together a beautiful puzzle...I salute you with a standing ovation 💕 Thank you for showing up unboxed, whole and complete!

Just spent 7-1/2 hours there in early March 2023. The most magnificent museum ever. Incredibly informative, educational, compelling and emotionally powerful. Go.

I visited this museum last weekend and it was AMAZING. The best museum I've ever been to. I am now planning a girls trip because its a must see for my friends. I've also been telling everyone I know about it and have encouraged them to visit.
